Hey all I finally had time to edit my Gallery. Check out My 04 Cooper about 2 months old now. Sorry it took so long, had many many computer problems, and lost all my pics, but finally found them again. :green:

Hey everyone...

I thought it was time for an April 04 production group reunion to see whats going on with our production and ship mates. I thought it would be cool to see all or some of the following in brief answers with a few pictures...

MINI Name?
Date of pickup?
How many miles currently etc?
What mods have been added?
Where has your MINI been?
Any body damage?
Any serious problems?

Hope to hear from some of you whose cars were produced IN April..

Cheers,

Craig

MINI Name?
BLITZEN
Date of pickup?
Cinco de Mayo <May 5th, 2004>
How many miles/kilometres currently etc?
18,200  Motoring the hell out of it and loving it!
What mods have been added?
17" OZ Racing Superleggeras <white>, 15% reduction pulley, ebc Greenstuff pads with ATE Super Blue brake fluid, just ordered real stripes..to replace the magnetic ones
Where has your MINI been?
Climbed Mt Washinton <6288 feet> in New Hampshire in June and then tamed the dragon in North Carolina <318 curves in 11 miles> in September
Any body damage?
Blitzen goes in the body shop in Feb to repair dents in hood and cracked wind screen from a rock truck. Est $1200.00 USD.
Any serious problems?
No serious problems with the car. The O2 sensor was replaced, the speedo had something strange hanging down inside it and I had that replaced, and the passenger seat back kept popping off. It too 2 trips to get fixed but has not come off again. Otherwise a great great experience overall and I love this car more and more every mile! I think its a keeper for a long long time if I have anything to do with it..

Not really. Climate control needed the TX valve replaced after the accident. And I'm due in for a new harmonic balancer in a week or so which should stop the ticking noise,

Those R90s replicas are really really nice and that is a really great shot!!! Looks like I am not the only one that has been motoring the heck out of my MINI based on your kilometres.

Where is everybody at?? Why am I the only one saying anything..?

I had the same clutch noise for a little while and dealer could not replicate as well.
When I got the 15% pulley it went away, I am going 19% next Friday and pray it does not come back. I hear replacing a clutch in these is a pain in the buttocks..
