: Pulley mod?

Has anyone in the Seattle area had a smaller supercharger pulley installed? Is it a good mod, absent any other ugrades to intake, exhaust and/or ECU? It seens like the best bang for the buck, in performance upgrades. Is there someone, who knows what they're doing, doing installs? Has there been, or is there any interest in a Seattle-area "pulley party"?

Obviously, there's not a lot of interest here, but for anyone who is interested, Group 2, in the Fishermen's Terminal area (Magnolia/Ballard), will be doing pulley installations in a few weeks. http://www.group2inc.com/

Rick, I think I may have talked to you about doing a mod at the meetup at Group 2 last Saturday. I too would be interested in going to a pulley party if they have one. The one is Portland I think is just too far for me. I don't see a weekend in my near future that I can dedicated 10 hours to. 4 for the meetups is about right for me.

I had to jet from the Group 2 event, so didn't actually get to talk to anyone about it, that day. I spoke with Joe at Group 2, the following week, and that's when I learned they'd soon be doing pulleys. It was a day after that, that I heard about the Portland pulley party. Nothing against Joe or the guys at Group 2, but I feel better about having the work done by a guy with a few hundred pulleys under his belt, rather than being the first kid on the block to have mine done. I was all excited about the pulley party price too, until someone told me they got a . . . I want to say Madness pulley and colder plugs installed for $408 (Is it Madness or Mania, in Hillsboro, OR?). My party price will probably be closer to $460. I do get free install on the plugs and the Pilo intake I ordered, so getting all three for about $608, no tax, is enough to get me to drive down there. It will be a long day, but I suspect the drive back will be a bit shorter!

You get the added benefit of just talking to Randy. He'll discuss all kinds of stuff throughout the day. Much fun.
And buckle up for your "test drive" :)
