How was the dealership to deal with?

Fine, very accomodating. I did 80% of the work online, emails and such. My only gripe was that they only worked with Mini Financing so I had to arrange my own lease. But, considering they covered over 60% of the shipping I really can't complain.

Just got an update, delivery is estimated to be 4-19-04 in San Bernardino!?! Don't know why they're delivering the car 80 miles from where I live.... we'll have to see about that... maybe that's why shipping was sooooo cheap

I've got the identical MINI "S" except for the cold weather. I'm in Agoura Hills and had the cold weather package on my first MINI and onlu used it a few times. Which interior did you order ? Mine has the cordoba beige leather and looks "great". I also included the anthracite interior and it looks awesome !!.

Good Luck with you car and if it ever wants to see a twin, let me know.

NO WAY! I've been looking and looking and have only ever seen the base model with PW and the PW roof!

I got the black leather interior w/anthracite

Have you gotten a tint or anything?

I've tinted the windows, added a Euro Parcel Shelf, Moss Motors Gear Shift, CocoMats to match the interior, K&N Air Intake, Alta Pulley , Borla Sport Muffler, glove box organizer.
I've probably forgotten something, but it's been fun. Oh yeah, I just bought an extra set of "S" Lites that I will eventually powder coat Pepper White to match the car.
When you get it, let me know and we'll compare notes.

Car arrives between 10 - 11am today!!!

Cayucosteve,
With all those mods do you have any issues with maint/service? I imagine you go to Bob Smith Mini for your scheduled maint... But I've been thinking about a few of those upgrades but i'm worried about warranty/scheduled maint... what's your experience been??

Just popped in to say "howdy" and congrats on the PW/PW -- just like Scooper! :D

I've added an Alta pulley and cold air intake, and a new sound system. Have all major options, and the Cordoba Beige leather (love it!). Considering adding black racing stripes and black aero kit grilles...

Congrats, and enjoy! :D :D

Thanks AmRov

She arrived yesterday, 2 hours late. Although I was planning on driving my other car this week and letting my MCS chill I've found it very difficult to get back into an accord.

First round of pics are here:

Since you drive an Accord, what's the difference like? I also drive a fairly old Accord (93) and I've always wondered how different these two will be...what can I expect to be different?

Congrats!!! It looks great. Enjoy every minute. You'll be looking for every reason this weekend to drive it. I went to pick up my dry cleaning 4 times, milk at least 6 times and I went to put gas in every other hour.
As far as mods, no one has really bothered with me as I just do oil changes. There is a great mechanic in North Hills, Steve's Auto Clinic on Nordhoff, who will wind up doing any major repairs. He's been great.
How many times have you washed it since yesterday ??

Barnabas,
I had a 2k accord v6 coupe. Driving the accord after the Mini just seems so lumbering. I find myself not pushing the Mini around corners yet cause Im so used to my mid sized tank.

cayu,
I really wasn't prepared for the reaction I'd have to this car! I wanna take the accord back now so that I'm not tempted to leave my MINI at home. I washed her as soon as she arrived and I'm gonna have her washed today cause she was out in the rain
