: Happy Birthday, pezboy Cape Cod MINI Mar 25th, 2004, 07:29 AM Happy Birthday, Jared.
I will grant a reprieve from kicking your ass for this one day.
22 years old! heh. You sure know how to make us old timers angry.
Hope you have a great day.
http://www.kidamazing.com/pezboy.jpg pezboy Mar 25th, 2004, 07:37 AM Wow, I am impressed Steve. 3:34am and you have already posted my birthday greeting. Thanks! Yeah, the big 22...I feel the hair getting grey already. I have to bust off to work though and can't think of any more witty comebacks.
Anyone have suggestions of where to go for dinner? Brown Sugar Cafe is awesome Thai right near Fenway, and I went to Red Bones last year. Haven't been to much downtown though. Cape Cod MINI Mar 25th, 2004, 07:42 AM Go for the Thai. Basil Duck or Mango Curry and Pineapple Rice.
Better than the fish burritos over on Comm Ave:eek: Actual Size Mar 25th, 2004, 09:01 AM http://www.click-smilies.de/sammlung0304/party/party-smiley-015.gif pezboy! Your MAMA says Have a Great Day and here's hoping you may find the ever-eleusive psychotic eye.

MudBud Mar 26th, 2004, 01:54 AM Pezzzzzzzz, Happy Young B-day. We will have to kick back a few when we hook up again. If you like Italian try Vinnie Testas down near FAO Swartz in Boston...get only a SOLO meal otherwise you will have enough for the next week.
Keith ruthie Mar 26th, 2004, 02:43 AM Happy birthday!!! :D GMINI Mar 26th, 2004, 03:56 AM Yo Pez!
Happy Birthday, Punk! pezboy Mar 26th, 2004, 11:36 AM Thanks guys...MudBud, there is a Vinny's right in my town. It's good but a little loud and hectic.
We ended up going to Brown Sugar Cafe which is really really good Thai right near Fenway. There is also one in Brighton I think. It has a really high Zagat score and wins all sorts of "Best of..." awards. They only have two parking spaces though, all the rest is permit parking only.
Almost got killed though right when you get on Storrow heading into the city, near BB&N. Three right hand lanes all merge into one which I knew, but nobody else wanted to let anyone else in. It sucked as myself and a few other cars all just laid on the horns and came to a standstill until someone let someone actually merge. Fingers were flying all over the place. I hate idiot Boston drivers. And on my birthday too. :(
John, got anything to get shoe polish off the inside door panels? It came off the plastic near the door lock, and handle...but it won't come off with 303 on the far inside part of the door, just above where that useless "pocket" is in the door. Let's trade doors, oh wait you have that bizarre "magnesium" stuff. GMINI Mar 26th, 2004, 02:59 PM Weirdly I've got shoe polish in my car too. I THOUGHT it would be easy to remove. Are you coming to Reservoir Dogs on Sunday? I'll bring some nonabrassive cleaners. If that doesn't work - I'll buy you a new panel. NOBODY's gettin my discontinued mags - they're half the reason I keep the car  jcsinnh Mar 26th, 2004, 03:28 PM Again, happy aging and have fun this weekend. I'm too late to suggest Pomodoro on Hanover aren't I? pezboy Mar 26th, 2004, 05:18 PM John, I think so. I tried to put my summers on yesterday and couldn't for the life of me get the bolts off. They were put on with a compressor so I might take it back to my buddies shop either today or tomorrow to swap them. I wanted to do it myself but it just wasn't going to happen. Be careful there, mate. They should be put on using a torque wrench. MINI specs say 85 which scares me so I always go 95 and that seems loose. Sounds like yours were way over torqued.........that or you are one weak son of a bit-ch. pezboy Mar 26th, 2004, 05:54 PM Hmm...I can out bag-throw anyone here!!
I will investigate...what would be the effect of said overtorqued bolts? | |
