How would you go about ordering one of the dresses from the Buddha collection? MiniAdventurer Apr 13th, 2004, 08:57 PM Here ya go Clare. Let's get on with the consultations. :p

hmmmm seems they don't have an online store, which is useful
if you have something picked out, then i look at the list of stores. there's only one in the states, in new york, but if you call the store direct then they will most likely be happy to mail you the product, if it's in stock. otherwise, you'll have to contact the supplier in england. which would be a big old hassle... the shop should stock all the new stuff. you only have a problem really if it's a franchise within a store, like it is where i work, because we don't stock much.
there's shops on south molton street and the kings road in london though, which are both pretty easy to get to. you getting any time for shopping when you come over in may? :p Lorri Apr 13th, 2004, 09:02 PM Lorraine, if it was from aftershock we have some at work in red, pink and black. not exactly like the ones on the website but v nice nonetheless. i was going to buy one for my leavers ball but it was tooooo big

<----- must remember not to be self indulgent- am looking for other people!! Red Dwarf Apr 13th, 2004, 10:06 PM Can I just sit hear and listen ladies.... I always enjoy women conversations more than men, you always talk about things with more feeling. I'll be sitting in the chair next to the changing rooms if you need a male viewpoint. :D Mike Clarke Apr 13th, 2004, 10:58 PM thought I'd poke my nose in - this is a charity ball is it not?
So why not buy from an Op shop and give the money you would have spent to the charity? Makes sense to me. ruthie Apr 14th, 2004, 12:32 AM All men are welcome. We need your input. Tyvm. :p ruthie Apr 14th, 2004, 12:33 AM Sham, you look great in that tux. Don't wear the wig though, k? :p ruthie Apr 14th, 2004, 12:34 AM thought I'd poke my nose in - this is a charity ball is it not?

You are so right. Let's keep it on budget so that we will have more to donate to the really important things about this event. ;) ruthie Apr 14th, 2004, 12:36 AM Ruthie I think I found the one you mentioned... it's just lovely and would really suit you :)
Thanks. I think so too. :D Have got to persue that dress. ;) ruthie Apr 14th, 2004, 12:52 AM "i bought lingerie tape from john lewis for £2.99 or something. much better than the 10 strips that you get for like £5 from some high street shops now they've cottoned on to the idea "
Clare, what the heck is lingerie tape? :o
*ruthie looks around....should I be embarrased that I don't know?*

In the last year John Lewis has sold: · 47.5 kilometres of "adhesive lingerie tape" (to preserve modesty by sticking clothing to cleavage) MiniAdventurer Apr 14th, 2004, 08:15 AM who needs a Goddess when there's google?

hehe thanks Mike. a helpful male sitting outside the changing room?? surely not?! ;) :D
i don't wear clothes that are that dodgy, honest! i actually bought it for a top that i've never worn. it was £1.50 and pure silk but it's just too revealing. i've used the tape a couple of times though, just to make sure everything stays where it should ;) | |
