My MC is also in the production week 28th.The delivery date was 16th July but it would seem the dealership is getting the car about a week early.My chassis number ends with 5 and there are certain specs which are only available for '05 model,for example rockets alloy,octagon cloth etc.

Bladeone - I also ordered my Cooper from Scotthall in Leeds in March, and was originally given a delivery date of 11/06/04 (it would have been a 2004 model), but after seeing pictures of the 2005 model, I decided to put the order back, and I was given a delivery date of 13/08/04. You jammy g*t, I would guess that you'll be one of the very first here with the new model.

BTW, who did you deal with at Scotthall, and when did you find out for certain what your delivery date was? Reason I ask is that I was given the above date when I changed my order, but I've not heard anything since. Were you initially given a different date which has recently been updated based on the allocation of cars?

Just spoke to my dealer and he said my car was due in later this afternoon or tommorrow morning.. YAY!!! I cant wait.

He said someone would give me a call tommorrow lunch to choose a number plate.. YAY YAY YAY I cant wait

Cheked in with our local dealer (Cardiff) planned delivery to dealer was 20/07 but possibly as early as 18/07, supposed to be an 05 mod, but I'll wait and see. (They have had soft tops in for 10 days but no tin tiops as of today)

Well... it's been a while since I started this thread, and a while before that that I ordered my car... but the wait is now nearly over - I should finally be picking up my 05 model MCS this afternoon! Might even post some pics if I can get my darned digital camera connected to my PC.

PS GasseyRob - I have some 05-specific options on mine (e.g folding mirrors), coming from the same dealer as you, so I'm pretty sure yours will be an 05 too ;)

My mini still has not had its PDI so I will be picking it up on Tuesday I have my reg though today!

Just picked up my new MC EBW yesterday. It is great - unfortunately can't include pictures as I don't have a digital camera yet. Full spec is:

Pepper pack, Spoiler, Alarm, CD Player
Sports Seats, Chrono pack, Chrome Line interior
Heated washerjets, silver UJ on the white roof and white bonnet stribes.

After ordering the 05 model in March the car arrived at the dealership last friday (one week early). And I'm picking it up next Tuesday. Will try and post some Pics. I'm looking forward to the replacement for my old Honda Civic 1.4.....


.....MCS Chilli pack all in Pepper White including mirrors, I want to fit a DAB / CD / mp3 stereo but I'm not sure what people can suggest???? :confused:
