: Aftermarket Exhausts - Which one??? nealskilling Apr 28th, 2004, 06:48 PM Hi,
I'm hoping you guys can help me. I'm planning on getting a new exhaust for my MCS, but I just can't make up my mind which one! I've done some searches on the forums and found some good reviews on several different exhausts, but what I think would really be helpful is some comments from people who actually have an aftermarket axhaust on their car and drive around in it everyday. Anyone who has an aftermarket exhaust, I would really like to hear your likes and dislikes about whatever exhaust you have.
I think I'm swaying towards the Magnaflow. It seems the best value for money and has a great sound. :D jcolletteiii Apr 28th, 2004, 07:59 PM I don't know if you can get Borla readily in the UK, but I would reccommend it highly. The install is fairly straight forward, and the quality is top-notch. Comes w/ a million mile warranty. And the sound is a thing to behold. Er - I mean if you like LOUD!
-joe punkeyfunky Apr 28th, 2004, 08:03 PM I have a PlayMINI cat back on my MC.
You can hear it here:

I drive my MC every day, and the PlayMINI is just fine to live with. In fact, the K&N makes way more noise...

Hope that helps :D
-Lee duncanbanana Apr 28th, 2004, 08:43 PM Get a Play mini exhaust ( dont want to have too many people with the best one, MILLTEK like what i have :D ) camminich Apr 28th, 2004, 09:13 PM I too have the Borla exhaust and I must say it is great! A very good mellow sound, nice and throaty. The magnaflow is a little bit lowder, but the Borla gives the Mini a nice European sporty road car sound. Almost like the mid 80's 911 sound.
Plus the install is a snap, some poeple are put off by the # of pieces that are included, but it really is easy. And the best are the chrome tips. Nice big guns with the "Borla" name on top of both. Parc77 Apr 28th, 2004, 09:19 PM I was gonna go for a Milltek so yeah agree with Duncan go for the Playmini :) nealskilling Apr 29th, 2004, 11:01 AM Many thanks for your input. i'm considering it but haven't come across any reviews for the Cooper S yet. What were your thoughts on it, from driving the GGR? minibee May 12th, 2004, 04:12 PM I would go for the Playmini exhaust for your cooper S
