It will depend on the dealership and the number of production slots they get, but probably most alrready are now filling new orders into July production slots, which will be the new model year. So you can stop dreaming and start speccing!

US dealers will not receive allocations for July builds until the latter half of May.

Ok dont the current late 2003 and 2004s already have MP3 capability... I thought that was not a 2005 thing

Talked to my dealer yesterday, they are starting to get some info. on the '05s. I didn't ask a lot (as I am getting one of the last batch of '04s and am happy with it - would like an '05 dash and 3-spoke wheel, but not a big deal) anybody that wait-lists with my delaer (Murray UT) will now get an 05 (for an S - may still be 04 Cooper slots), but it sounded like they don't have access to all the '05 options for ordering. Probably another month? (I'm rather speculating there). July production will have to be speced around the end of May/first week of June I think.

Oh yeah,
let me know on the MP3 thing - would rather burn all that driving music to a couple of CDs rather than always plug in the MP3 player.

Here in Denver it's moot: all S allotments are now 05's, even for those of us on 04 wait lists. :D Not sure about Coopers. Jimbo
