Had an update phone call from Rakey - apparently they are all suffering now from Aiden's incessant chatter, ears are aching badly and in some cases started to bleed. Dora burnt the breakfast beyond recognition - though most of us who went to the MK BBQ can relate to that :p . Most of the cars have bottomed out on the non-existent roads. It's not stopped raining since they arrived and consequently they not been able to see much in the way of scenery. Too much Guiness was drunk so the MINIs are a bit pungent - they are all wishing they had a convertible :D

All in all he reckoned we were probably having more fun back here at home :)

Well, I'm back. The UKers, the USers and the solitary Dutchman as well as the Corkonians still have another night and some further travelling to do.

Needless to say, the weekend and the run was absolutely fabulous, I'd have to use the words spectacular and unique, and that may very well be underselling it. The weather was fantastic, the roads incomparable, 650 miles of open fast, see-for-miles type roads, including some mountain passes and such-like.

Anyway, I'll post some more in the other threads, not all my piccys, as I'll leave some of the other guys - Shane took around 600 piccys !

Staying home wasn't better...............trust me........... ;)

Yes, there is a video of me allegedly puddling, but I was being my usual pleasant self waiting for my Puddler guests to catch up - it backfired ! :o I thought Buttonit was taking stills...........:D Feck the excuses, I was puddling at that particular point in time, but dropped that passtime on Saturday.........;) :D

I'd have to say thanks to everyone from MINI2 who came ovre, in particular to Ruthie, Shane and Robbert, the long distance guys........:)

Thanks to Gerard, Tim, Alvin and the Irish Mini Owners Club for putting together a fantastic run. I'm sure many more will want to be involved when the piccys are posted.

Sunday, those of us who were able to ;) got up reasonably early, and headed to the Giants Causeway - here are a few piccys from there............:)

Those roads look, and I use this word only on very rare occasions, awesome.

I'll be there next year.
