We had a golf game last Wednesday, and by lunch thunder and lightning aborted our game. Really strong winds, ala tornado.......and see what happened to my friends cars!! :( :( :(


****! :eek: grabe yan a... i feel sorry for the owners... :( . parang nanghina ako nung nakita ko yung pictures.... that same thing happened to the car of my sister's boyfriend in laguna last year.. a big tree fell on top of his lancer gsr... it knocked down the whole roof... the roof was repaired but it was never the same again because of that accident... :(

Man, these things are so massive they come as complete, plate kits. I had the impression they were "rubber bushing" to be inserted. Apparently, they're NOT! Which makes me wonder why they wear out so quickly.

Soon as I get my old one out, I'm taking them to my friend and will experiment if they can be re-packed.

Guys, how do we post pics here? I've got some nice ones when I met with MINI.SINGAPORE.com peps at their EB last week -

MCS JCW dark grey of Charlie who gave me a ride,
05 MCS Convi orange by an Air Force pilot who paid 145,000 S$ = P4.8M,
another 05 MC red by another Air Force pilot (guess pilots there get paid well),
a couple of classic (blue one owned by a lady with nice legs (naka shorts kasi) and
UV conversions (one blows fire?flame off its exhaust)

BTW, I was informed that PowerFlex UK just released a poly rear shocks top mount - will get pricing info and complete list of MC/S poly stuff.

I'm game for the EB since I will be having my topmounts installed tomorrow, finally!! What are you guys planning on.....an EB or an EB run? I just need to check first if my car is actually driveable with how low it is sitting now. So I'm still not sure regarding the run. I'll let you guys know once I bring it home.

Eric, i think you have to upload it to your gallery first before you can post it here. Upload mo na para we can see those nice legs!! :p Looks like you had a lot of fun in sing. And did powerflex make poly topmounts for the fronts? I think that's what we need more than the rears.

Both cars were done at ERL in QC. Autosport could NOT immediately schedule me, so what's new??? Eh I wanted it done ASAP!!! I called up Ernie, and he said yess in a jiffy!! John's car really looks mean! Its so low, i can't even get my hand between the tire and the wheel well! So pregnant women, stay away from his car!!!

Matagtag yan! I want to compare the ride with Enchong's tweety........ would'nt that add more stress to the Top Guide Support? Hence the creation of the Polyurethane based camber plates.

This is excatly the fears that I have that certain modifications, while essential in the increase of "racing" performance and handling, will subject the car to multiple, concommitant expenses. In short, nangangaanak ng gastos. Eventually you'll have to get rear polyurethane bushing, to increase the dampening strength, control arms inorder to avoid uneven thread wear, and the camber plates . :D :D Yikes!

The ride is a bit stiffer but still tolerable. It's even better compared to my old shock set up. I don't think we can use Enching's car for comparison since he's shocks are not the SS+ type. So the dampening on that is still a bit softer.

So are we going to push through with the EB? Saturday afternoon para makasama si Van! Who's in? I', ok with an EB run as well, but I guess that moves it to Sunday morning.

I am sked to see ERL for my top mount job on Thursday, hopefully will be done within the day and ready for the weekend.

I am also in contact with PowerFlex and they will try to develop the front top mount from the sample we will send them. They already have the rear. I can bring their catalogue at the EB if anyone is interested, remember, we are the local distributor.

i saw in your pbase gallery before that you are selling some lowering springs.. are they still available? is it for the cooper S or just the cooper? i know someone who is interested to lower his mini... nakilala ko na yung may mini sa school namin... i told him to join our club and join us in our eb's but he told me that he's about to sell his beloved mini (i don't know why... :( ) his mini looks great.. i've attached some photos. (sori for the quality, camera phone) i also asked him to join this forum... (and let's convince him not to sell his beautiful mini just after 5 months of ownership...) his car is a silver mini cooper with black roof and bonnet stripes and 17's s-lites.

EB EB na! bago dumating ang mga bagyo!!! :D

sa la salle you park sa street, due to the lack of slots that the school has to provide, perenial problem. but leaving your mini out there...guts or malaki bayad sa bantay!!! during my time, early 90's, i had to bring my "goons-mobile" to school so that i can park anywhere.

hehe... yup we do park on the streets with some bantays... but i've managed to go to school early so that i could park inside our carpark building... pero limited slots lang.... kaya dapat maaga... kya di ko dinadal mini ko sa school e... katakot minsan pag naubusan sa loob ng parking e... no choice but to park outside tpos pabantayan mu nlang... :D
