UPDATE ON MY MINI: i'll find out today (monday) if van's pulley can be installed in my Mini. left it at ERL over the weekend...they couldn't pull it out (Ernie explained but i didn't really understand. hehehe) they'll let me know today raw. sana pwede na :D

van, looks like pinagkakaguluhan yung mags mo ha :D about your issue with rota...that DOES suck. i was talking with eddie last friday about his Mini being sponsored in a car show...didn't get to ask him if he gets paid when the company/ies that sponsored him uses his car/pics of his car for their ads...anywayz, it sucks that companies here don't really offer FULL sponsorship...in a sense that they just offer you a discount on their stuff...tapos malalaman mo na lang na ginagamit-gamit yung pics ng auto mo to promote their products w/o your knowledge & consent. tsk tsk...kung sponsor...dapat WALA tayo gagastusin diba? eh tayo na nga maaabala eh diba? :rolleyes:

parang naman deja-vu yung kwento mo. i did not get any discount. in fact when i asked around, it turned out same price lang sa labas ang kuha ko sa rims ko from them. this is my last post. i would not dignify nor degrade the issue. basta it just happend and you can derive your own opinion about it. lahat naman tayo may alam at mahilig sa auto and may sariling common sense.

UPDATE: my Mini is STILL at ERL...fyi, i left it there last friday & til now they haven't removed the stock pulley...according to ernie, they're having a hard time removing it. nakakainis pa na ernie won't return my calls or text right away :mad: so i'm still waiting...although i'm going to ERL later to check on my mini. i did reiterate to ernie & to the girl i talked with on the phone yung wala si ernie (natarayan ko ata. hehehe) that i need to know ASAP if the pulley can be used or not because i have a pending order in maxmotorsports for the pulley & tensioner :mad:

hmm...i'm VERY tempted to go with wider rims :D hehehe. para pantay yung flares sa mags. hmm...i think 17x7.5 rims will do the trick...but i can go wider pa coz i have extended flares that i can put on my Mini...hmm...parang ang bigat na ng ganun :D wawa naman mini ko. bigat na nga sounds bigat pa ng mags. so much for lower unsprung weight. hehehe...

guys, how much do you think i can get for my extended flares? 1st owner of my Mini got it from the states :D

called up Ernie kanina...asked how my Mini was...he asked "are you sitting down?" (by now i was thinking "oh *****...")...he said my Mini was finished na...BUT...they weren't able to replace the pulley!! :mad: according to Ernie, they couldn't pull out the pulley, ilan na raw naputol nila na puller ayaw pa rin matanggal! :mad:

ERL can't do it...still asking if Euro Motors can do it...suggestions anyone?

Ernie suggested that i have Top Gear (a shop beside his) try to take the pulley out. anybody know of this shop?

Its true that there are a lot of customers because they are good. One has to set an appointment for the car. If you want a walk-in type of shop. This is not the shop for you. Even ERL needs some form of appointment, specially if its a big job. Palakasan? I doubt. Sa dami ng customers nila, they do not have time for that.

i found in the service manual that they use a special tool.

Puller (BMW Special Tool 11 8 310).

its a three prong tool that is used to pull the crank pulley. the crank pulley is the same for mc and mcs, difference lang is the mcs has a vibration damper. i will post pics tomorrow la ako scanner sa house eh. the tool looks like kitchen tool btw.
