Pare I have a shoot with Dominic V at 10 am in the house and it might really be tight. If we can change the venue to Eastwood or anywhere near ortigas, I will be able to make it. I have not been present for the past EBs and would really want to go. The agenda is good as we really have to get organized so we can bring in more members to our group. Pero if its a big hassle to change venue, will just attend the next one.

ey guys, not yet sure kung makakapunta ako sa EB...although i would like to go kahit la ako Mini...pero maiinggit lang ako for sure kung di ko madadala Mini ko :D

UPDATE: i was able to borrow the bentley service manual from John last night (kakahiya magpakita kay john, nakapambahay lang ako tapos siya ayos na ayos :D) anywayz, i showed it to ernie & he said ganun na ganun ginawa nya (according to the manual) but STILL no cigar. he said that he'll be making a call for me tomorrow to look for a "better puller" (meaning shop or the tool itself? :confused: ) so that's my situation...i'm gonna call him mid-morning tomorrow

thanks rakey.... just browsing most of the threads, postings, etc.. to see how the mini and mini owners been doing all around the world.... :D and i'm liking it... :D great people and minis from all over... and even mini owners share their different views on non-mini related issues like the recent hurricane katrina :( happenings and other topics as well... very nice, helpful and informative site... not just for the mini... :D

and btw, our new mini club started and was formed in this site.... and we still use this site for eb's, meet-ups, runs, etc... thanks mini2 :D

it is an amazing site, and it really does become a part of your life when you start to get to know folks and chat to them lots:)

I know about your club, I have popped in your thread, done a bit of lurking, posted a couple of times, its a great group you have here, and its great to see the international side for me too:)

Yup , so far just me and Van, Southwoods and Sta. Elena, are our home course respectively. BTW, just made my first hole in one last August 16,2005. Legends hole #12, 176 yards, 6 iron Titleist 1.

We should have a round of golf. Can either of you play mid-week?

Something Fishy at Eastwood has breakfast buffet for 80 PESOS up to 10 AM, excluding coffee & drinks.

Let me know what the group decides ASAP.

CONGRATS! :D hmm...i remember my 1st (& only so far) hole-in-one...baguio country club...#17...uphill par-3...it was playing 175-180 that day...back pin...my caddie was on the green (in sight, i might add)...you can barely see the flag from the tee...hit a perfect 7-iron with a little draw...landed in the middle of the green...went in :D everyone didn't believe me at first because it the hole is nicknamed "japanese hole" because of this japanese guy before who ALWAYS scored a hole-in-one in that hole (with the help of his caddie of course)...so everyone thought i cheated on the hole-in-one because my caddie was on the green...BUT IN SIGHT...hahaha! oh well...

been playing since i was 12...i'm a handicap 3 but that was months ago...haven't played all that much in months because of school...started hitting balls the other day...kaya pa naman :D

UPDATE ON MY MINI: hindi pa rin matanggal ni ernie yung pulley ko (even with the service manual) i'm getting desperate na! really wanna join the eb on sunday! called up autoplus, they might be able to accomodate me tomorrow. i already called naji (autosport), as expected, i have to schedule & i have to call him back on monday to confirm. i'll be brining my Mini to autoplus tomorrow. i'm keeping my fingers crossed...

Everyone,

Since C! Magazine has not confirmed until now, and we discovered that Eastwood has a lockout thing pala with Rev Magazine (when I told them C! might come, they kinda balked), I agreed na lang for Rev Magazine to cover our EB this Sunday, if you won't mind.

Either way, we will have a photo-shoot this Sunday and a possible feature in the magazine. So get your MINIs clean and sparkling.

Next time naman when we go to Greenfields we will have C! Magazine. Now how's that for publicity?

so sorry for the late reply guys. i've been so busy lately. i'll try my best to make it to eastwood. i'll set my alarm so that i can wake up. hahaha! i asked my cousin if he wants to join (he has a green cooper s). he's going to try as well.
