i'm not quite sure about the amount but mine has been checked thoroughly and my unit is okay. what mode of payment are you going to purchase your mini? maybe your bank could check it for you? or have someone from take a look at the unit and check all the papers... that's what i did.:smile:

Just checked my CP. The amount is roughly P210K. What is indicated in the CP of the Cooper your buying? I guess it would be a bit lower since masmababa ang price ng Cooper compared to the S. But it should be around that figure. If you trust/know the seller then there's nothing to worry about. Goodluck!

the amount on the CP is around 170k. that's my problem i dont know the seller personally. its "auto stadium" on Q. Ave. and medyo magulo din kasi kausap. una sabi sa kin...2004 model na pinasok 2005. then when i saw the docs pinasok pala yung car last quarter of 2003 then it was registered march 2004(on the CR) if i hadn't brought up that detail di din niya sasabihin. so who knows what else he's not telling me.

check the decal by the side of the door jamb driver's side below the door catches - it should indicate the manufacturing date so you can verify the model.

the VIN (5 letters 5 numbers 2 letters 5 numbers) number can also tell you that in coded form but you will have to get that from the OR/CR or in the engine bay by the left shocks strut or right side windshield from the outside (US model only). it's also a good way to check the VIN if it is a US version as there is a service on the internet (carfax.com) to give you the car's history - to check if it is a lemon or a stolen car or not.
