Raymond figured it out. wen he pulled out the old pulley the shaft came out a bit by probably .25 inches. he put it bak to level and voila, happiness. the car pulls a lot better now and rev range go higher faster. the sound is a lot better. wat i need now is air diverter, bigger intercooler too expensive . i'll invest it in works exhaust nalang. ay nako dis is wat i expected never ending mods. my new wife already rolling her eyes wenever something new is installed. i put in alta 15% btw. raymond told me you changed twice? 15% and now 19%...

Told you you'd be very happy with the pulley. Congrats!! haha. The works exhoust looks good, but it seems miltek is the best exhaust for our car right now. Yep, changed pulleys twice, I now have a 19% on, that is why I decided to get the intercooler, to keep things cool. I am planning to get larger injectors soon. Maybe before the end of Feb!! :D Never ending gastos talaga yan! There is always an itch to uprgrade something!

Van, Congrats on the pulley. Mine too had its upgrade to 15% na! The 19%pulley & intercooler upgrade would be for guys who have "balls of steel" for 200bhp. he he he!!! :D :D :D

During our next EB, I have invited Martin Lorenzo to join in. He drives an MCS, and would want to join our group. We both are co-parents at the school both our youngest kids goes to, and we belong to the same sports club in the south.

Another friend who has been bugging me for available minicoopers wants to join too! Martin Aguirre has just bee referred to several units he can take a look at. Thank you for your referrals.

John, Thank you! Mud Flaps fits well! Just followed the instructions posted at Motoring file.com , in fact this installation paved the way for me to get most of the stuff i bought last year, installed. Strut bar, ECU cover modifications, shark antena base cover, nickel trimings. Only one left is my Glove box which is still in the balikbayan box cargo. I decided to use the "Monster" brand cassette adapter for my iPod Photo instead of the Ice-link. Serves the mobility requirement to other cars. The ice-link, while expensive, is a fixed solution. Means i have to buy a link for each car....(USD299 ayuy!)

I'll be taking photos and posting them here for all to see. Walang EB eh!

m very happy with the pulley. the car transformed into a monster. m gona order works cat back exhaust sana but am still looking at others...any suggestions? M doing MTH mod now but the guy hasn't emailed back the new maps for my car. hope the ecu remap will give additional power. we can never get enough of it!!! regards,

Thats good! Looks like you'll be going all the way with your mods! Thats good news! :D So you already have a cable for the MTH? Let us know how well it works. As for the exhaust, I think the Milltek catback would be the best, seems like its what everyone is recommending around here. From where do you plan to pruchase the Works ehaust? I'm having my ECU sent to Helix by next week, it'll be have the GIAC software for the 19% by the end of the month, as well as the bigger injectors!! :D Can't wait.

i have the cable already. and have sent my original software. the german guy hasnt sent it back pa. ang tagal!!! mga three days na. working out the works exhaust coz it looks good for me. have the side skirts wc have jcw sills narin kaya i chose that, para uniform. hehe. good idea on the fuel injectors. but after my exhaust i myt change muna the throttle body. and then see..

ey guys... im still thinkn on getting air intake for my mcs pero for the meantime i'm looking into the replacement air filter from k&n... lam ko meron satin dealer ng k&n pero m not sure kung meron cla makukuha for mcs... anyone of you guys who knows sum1 na may makukuhanan ng K&n air filter for my mcs? (or pabili kng cnu sa inyo mag out of town...) :confused: tnx... and where can i get replacment oil filters for my mcs... :confused: tnx guys... when eb naten? meron ako suggested place pero kung gsto nyo lang... sa blue wave macapagal.... ok naman dun pati parking, pero mdyo layo for some of us... ;)

yup i got to fix it na. bulok talaga windows XP. but i put in my stock ecu palang scary talaga. had an mcs paperweight for 2 days. might upload my modified ecu tomorrow.

btw wats ur handle in NAM?

Van is right, once you pop, you can't stop! :D I suggest you start out with the pulley, it gives the most gain anyways. If your not happy with that then go for other mods.

I would think 15% would be sufficient for you since you are not really power hungry as you said. But once you go black, there's no turning back! hahaha! :D Let me know if you need the puller.

The 15% pulley will kick in enough power increase. Ask John's experience. You may need to spend more mods with a 19% pulley size, which includes a larger intercooler, which he has mentioned in an earlier thread. I'd go 15% PULLEY, AIR FILTER UPGRADE, ENTIRE EXHAUST (Remus, Jackson Racing, Borla) . Brand selection would be up to you depending on the budget. As they said in the movie Spiderman, " With great power, comes great responsibilities", Once you've kicked in your power boost, you need to stop. A larger FRONT AND REAR BRAKE KIT, FRONT AND REAR STRUT BARS, FRONT AND REAR SWAY BARS, and if you're really pushing it, dropping the body with a LOWERING KIT/ CONTROL BARS would add to your bill. :D :D

John, do not forget those ADJUSTABLE CONTROL ARMS with your EIBACH coils, else you'll never get your camber right. Just check if you need same brand. :D :D :D Check if one dropping the body would need a CAMBER AND CASTER KIT, or if its a replacement for the former (control arms). I guess the ECU comes later once you're done with engine related aspects.

Oh yan Eddie, dami na listahan!!!! When do we start with the sound system? :D :D

Hinihilo mo naman si Eddie eh. haha. I'm going to wait for the springs, I'll install them and see how it goes. If the hieght isn't too low, and the ride not too harsh for my taste, then I'll go buy a set of control arms. If not, I'm getting rid of the springs!! That way, if I didn't like it, I wouldn't be losing a whole lot of money.
