Dalboyne..
You are on page 16 of the members rep ladder. Just scroll to the top of the screen, press the members list button, then click on reputation. It will then list everyone in highest to lowest order of reputation points received. You are near the bottom of page 16, which, out of about 256 pages, is brillaint for just 25 posts or so!:D

Luxembourg update - had a quick call with the local MINI dealer, and will follow up tomorrow (he was busy with a customer at the time!). Really hoping we'll get some form of interest/sponsorship out of him - maybe even a free lunch!

Is nobody else in Europe showing any interest? Come on Mini owners/fans everywhere - you can do better than this!!!

BTW - He's been and seen the new cabrio, and says the Coll Blue is a great colour (he said it's like BMW's Steel Blue, but bluer....) I can't wait!!

Greetings all!

I had a most encouraging meeting with the local MINI dealer (Garage Arnold Kontz) this morning, and I think they will be interested in supporting your transit through Luxembourg. We discussed the possibility of a "pit stop" here, where you could refresh vehicles and bodies equally (and maybe they could sell you rubber-burners some new tyres!) They also though there might be interest in getting together a party from Lux to meet you all up at the Ring...

So lets hope we welcome Arnold Kontz on this thread real soon!

All the best

Ian

Ian, thanks :). if your going to meet us at the Ring are u thinking about convoying on route with us back to Luxembourg???

im hoping we arent going to need new tyres by the time we get to lux! but who knows what the road holds for us :)

dalboyne
May 22nd, 2004, 08:29 AM
Yes, convoy back to Lux would be cool fun, methinks! Only problem for me - on current plans we don't get back from family summer holidays until 24th, so I probably won't be able to do the Ring myself. But the dealer was talking about mailshotting all his clients to see who might be interested, so who knows!

I'll have another chat with them in the next few days or so, as I need to confirm some of the details on my convertible order.....

Enjoy the weekend everyone!

I'm afraid I've lost the plot somewhere along the way!

How many cars and folks do we expect to see transiting through Luxembourg on the 25th August?

Thanks all - will be seeing the MINI dealership again today, hopefully the marketing man who is all-important in this venture.

Also selling my MINI One today (much sadness) and waiting for a delivery date on the Cooper Cabrio...soon, soon, I am assured!

I'll be in touch again real soon
