The weight of the car helps with it being about 400lbs lighter than stock. From memory I believe it was 100lbs is 1/10th on the 1/4mile. So saving 400lbs I'm 4/10ths up on everyone. I don't expect everyone to go to the extremes I have in regards to weight saving.

Yeah i knew someone would pull me up for my reactiom time lol. But because no one was beside me, i got myself properly set before i pulled away to get the best getaway i could. I'd been having problems getting a good start due the cold temps that day, it never got above 2'c the whole day, as it was my best time of the day it was 2.5 seconds well spent :D:p.

Yep spot on :p, i had it in the bag the whole way lol.

Ran the cars first 1/4 mile with the front mount installed on Sat and it ran 13.85@103 with a badly slipping clutch so pretty happy with that.

I saw this car with half the front end missing and engine in various pieces just a week before that run, and they run a business in their spare time too :D These guys certainly know their onions!

We actually discussed this Tuesday, in theory he would be .08 faster due to his lack of weight, but I would still be faster due to driving skill :)

... and you need to get a vbox because niether of the above is likely with those specs

yep family commitments forced me to change from MINI to boring family car.

but fingers crossed will be able to get back in a MINI in the next couple of years.
