all the details will be out early next week, but pretty much they'll be printed to order, so it'll be ultra-important that people get their orders in on-time!
& while we've yet to finalise international pricing etc, there's been a lot of interest from overseas also... so this looks ilke it'll be even bigger than we imagined, but who's complaining heh! :D :D warped Nov 27th, 2004, 12:08 AM Awesome work Gary & team :D :D :D
I would suggest that you might want to get an initial assessment of orders 'cause based on that preview I think you are going to be swamped ;) Baker Nov 27th, 2004, 01:16 AM :o I definatly want one - its gorgeous! Todd! Nov 27th, 2004, 03:33 AM I, personally am a big fan of June... thats my unbias opinion...;)
The calendar has done everything we hoped to achieve - show great cars, in diverse colors, in beautiful locations - it really highlights the great place we live in, as well as the great cars we drive.
One must be put on the wall at PITS for putting up with yous guys every Sunday morning... You might get a discount from there if you do that:p

Fantastic work guys!!
It's a nice shot Tim. Also when it came down to the final artwork it was difficult getting the required quality in terms of mega pixels and so on. The final image selection ended up being a lot tougher than I expected, at least, based on that. There was certainly some very last minute decisions made in order to get the file to print.
It's great to read alll the positive feedback. Whenever designing love jobs it can often be a thankless task. So with the great organisational efforts of Gaz and you're great images it was a pleasure to bring the calendar to life.

What a coincidence! :D snoopy Nov 30th, 2004, 10:36 AM looks great guys, a real pro look to it. klint Nov 30th, 2004, 01:44 PM Another idea would be to have a contest every month as the year goes on, let the members vote for their favourite shot, then have it in popular sizes such as 1200x840 etc for download locally and have the dates digitally inserted onto the picture and it can be used as a desktop background.
It'll also allow the pictures to vary in style depending on the season. klint Nov 30th, 2004, 01:50 PM Another idea would be to have a contest every month as the year goes on, let the members vote for their favourite shot, then have it in popular sizes such as 1200x840 etc for download locally and have the dates digitally inserted onto the picture and it can be used as a desktop background.

Is it possible to also combine the calendar dates with the PC's clock? Is there some kind of script for it? So, the calendar date becomes highlighted as each day goes on. gazah Nov 30th, 2004, 08:07 PM Is it possible to also combine the calendar dates with the PC's clock? we are looking into making static desktop versions of the '05 calendar klint, but if you're after a customisable calendar that shows the current/upcoming month & highlights the current date then try Rainlendar (http://www.ipi.fi/~rainy/index.php?pn=projects&project=rainlendar)

We're one step ahead of you klint. Although the addition of dates into the desktop background hadn't been raised until now. Could be a goaer...
;) Smurfn Nov 30th, 2004, 09:03 PM Looking very good. I will make sure I order :D :D gazah Dec 1st, 2004, 02:37 AM the calendar is now available for order, so see the new thread...
