Once again, SCooperMan gets my car into the final cut! I'm there, about 38 seconds in, in front of Harpo, just before the 'amazing exploding lorry'... (such a shame we didn't get his number plate in on that film..)

Totally awesome footage, extremely inventive,and i love the overtaking about 50 cars coming out of Hams Hall, where he meets another MINI coming the otherway!! I suppose they were doing the same thing!!

SCoop, do you use software only for that editing, or do you have some kind of desk set up for mixing the sound/vision?

The folks coming the overway way were Harpo and Trainman.

The business with the truck has some rather prolific swearing and ranting followed by some PMR chat and a phone call to Buttonit, but that wont be appearing on the public domain. You can also hear the tire explode too, thats how close i was to it when it happened :eek:

i dont use anything more than my own imagination, a DV camera and microsoft's Movie maker 2 (MM2). (which i can recommend as a cheap / great way to get into film making). MM2 comes free with windows XP. i have some more complicated packages for making DVDs etc like Pinnacle Studio 8. For music editing i just choose a favourite tune and add into MM2 as background music. However its rather limiting as you can only have the original video soundtrack and one music track.

my new video ediitng setup which im getting soon should allow me some better tools :) and hence better videos.

i'm just downloading it now scooperman_uk, it looks fantastic so far :D :D

SCoop, this is stating the obvious, but can you keep an original clip of the lorry tyre exploding sound/vision... it will come in handy for myself and Jones when/if it goes to the insurers.. (in case they do not admit responsibility)

If you could put it onto a cd, sound and all, if you are coming to Beaulieu on sunday, i would appreciate a copy!!
