I'd like to say a really big thanks to Hat & MadBrummie for sorting out the best run I've been on (Out of 2, but thats not the point ;) ), And its definitely persuaded me that more runs are definitely what i want to be doing. 134 is a big turnout, good work all.

Hightlights for me were running round the car park with passes trying to find people who had just turned up, MadBrummies loadhailer antics, Mini Bar :D with free everything!, Getting lost and finding the NEC anyway including 6 mini2ers in 3 different lanes on a roundabout, all trying to get in the right lane when the lights went green  . The kindness and courtesy of the Mini ppl and Sir Russ of the Swift, and the overall show feel, nice to see smaller manufacturers like Deronda and Ariel there :).

Can we get some of the groupshots of the mini2ers on the LAA floor uploaded at full quality on a website? I've yet to find a pic where i'm either looking at the camera, or u can see me at all! It'd be good to take my pic from the whole bunch.

And a final cheers to minisoopercooper, who (probably accidentally) managed to get a pic of my mini as it left Hams Hall, so i have proof I was there :).

P.S Yeah, as if MA would let u act up Chris!!, she might get all stern!

Just recovering from what was a great weekend. Thank you, thank you, to Hat & Brummie and all those involved in the organisation of a fabulous and smooth running MINI adventure.
The live MINI arena & stand were the highlights of the show for us- thanks for the great hospitality. However the real excitement was all the MINI2 antics...trying to get all the cars out of Hamms Hall, I couldn't drive for laughing, the enormous convoy, and the parking and admiration we got on entering the NEC. Just awesome.
As ever there are some pix on my site on the link below....enjoy :D

anyone wants high-res versions to print out- just ask and they're yours.

Ive got 11 little Minis, a member of the mini staff said if i shout as loud as i can '' i love mini'' she give me two goody boxes. The general public were very scared of me after that!

What a fabulous day, i thought the show was excellent. The MINI staff were great and so was their lounge.

Fav. bit has to be the Russ Swift photo shoot. Wow! Even got him and his son to sign my MINI passport! Quality!

PLEASE can someone help me with photoshop

i've uploaded the pics to my computer, right click "open with photoshop", clicked save for web but the file size is too big apparently. how can i make them smaller files without losing the size of the picture?

easy instructions necessary, i'm used to dealing with windows paint

go to Image on the tool bar at the top, select image size, then resize accordingly, 650 pixels is your first number, and the other should adjust so it stays inproportion;)

what happened with the truck incident????

I know Veron781 got bumped at a roundabout by a mini2er but everything seems ok just a little damage
hi, i was the mini2er who had the bump approaching the roundabout... my fault. sorry!
didnt look like too much damage though, looks like i cracked the chrome thing on the back of the other mini. i felt really bad. just waiting on a phone call from the third party (veron781???) i didnt catch the username.

was a good meet otherwise though.
AND I drove an impreza STi! which was quite impressive.

Has anyone else been sad enough to make a live action arena for thier pull back mini? Its really quite a lot of fun, and a lot better than maths revision :p .

Now, which colour would 'Swift Sir Russ' drive... yellow, electric blue, or pure silver..

oh, and jsut too many people to talk to again - Hickster, thanks for the convoy leader banner - dont think I saw you again after that

Rakey - didn't see you again after Hams Hall  But thanks for the contraband ;)
We went on a magical mystery tour of the NEC roundabouts and got our own car park next to the test drive tracks. Saw the first Mini show with everyone else and then me and my passenger made our own way around the show - he's not on Mini2 so we kinda kept to ourselves. Will be passengerless and overnighting for the Cotswolds though so should see more of you lot then :D

I think they were £2.95 each...

137 minis on my 'hams hall cark park fridge simulation' would probably be a little too pricey to be funny...

back to the drawing board...
