Anyone have a picture of the Anthracite roof liner? Is it an option on the MCS?

It is an option on the '05 MCS as I understand. Only picture I have seen is the MINI international website.

I don't know what it looks like, but I ordered it on my 04 refresh model (which I should get in the middle of August).

I thought it would go well with the black leather/black cloth and that dark brushed steel effect dashboard( can't remember what they call that) and the dark silver with black roof.
I have a blue cooper at the moment and the interior is very light (silver dash light cloth roof interior).

I just think it will look quite classy, an all black interior with the dark silver and black roof.

Well yes there are pics of it I took them on Sunday, and would have been very easy for you guys to use the search button, you coulda seen em, but seeing as I'm a nice guy I'll save you the hassle and show you wat it looks like ;)

I like the look of it, and I've had it on my order without really knowing what it loks like in a MINI, but I know its nice as I've seen something similar in aother BMW cars.

Thge original is a very light colour (almost white, or cream colour) with the the pillars going upto it in the same colour.

If you look at the pics I posted you will notices the roof lining is a dark grey, and the pillar is also a dark grey, matchthing the top part of teh dash, its meant to give the inside a more sporty feel, which I agree with.

Another bonus to it is that it is more resistant to showing up pesky dirty ginger prints (if you're unfortunate).

I like it, but you rerally need to go inside one to really tell whether or not its for you.

Anytime man, I really wanted to see what the new roof liner lloked liked, and noticed no one seemesd to have taken a pic of it, so I remember to take a pic of it when I was at the NEC show on Sunday.

Just had to sahre the pics, as I knew many of us really wanted to know what the new liner looked liked.

If any of you want a sporty\classy feel inside, go for this roof liner, and the bonus to it is that will show marks ans so forth less badly as the std lighter coloured liner.

Its must have in my case, glad you like the pics!

To be honest I almost forgot too, cos my m8s were like hurry up we need to go watch the show, but I was determined to take some pics :)

It really is nice inside, the sun visors are a nice dark grey colur too looks very nice, can't explain it with words hehe :p

I orderd it in march, I asked for a production date for the 2005 model, then. And after that, we put the MINI together.
The half MINI is here already, the exhaust, lowering springs, Brembo GT's, and other wheels....so i only have to wait for the . . . . . . MINI:)

Sounds great m8 :cool: , but won't those lowering springs stiffen up the ride even more than it already does? Are you gonna tune the engine too or is 170 hp enough for you?
18" wheels????

I have now also 18" and lowering springs, and it's in my opinion better to drive, then with 17" But i think also thats it's driving better becouse there are no runflats on it.
170hp ??? Yes for 1 day ;)...then it go's to 235 :) (now it has 190hp, but i put an other pulley on it. we are doing the tuning here).
