I have had a reply from John Cooper Garages about my enquiry to buy a keyring. The reply stated that Keyrings and caps are shortly to become available from your UK Mini Dealer and to keep an eye out for them. Anyone know anything on here????

Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding the John Cooper keyrings.

Unfortunately, as we are the UK division of MINI, we do not hold any
information regarding items that are available on www.miniusa.com (http://www.miniusa.com). There is
no strategic plan behind the UK *not* issuing such an item, but a decision
has been clearly been made to release one in the US. There may be rights
issues in the US with regards to the John Cooper Works merchandise that
allow MINI USA to produce items with John Cooper's knowledge, but for full
details you would need to contact MINI USA directly, via the email links of
their website.

My response was from JCW Garages but is on my works e-mail - I'll post it here tomorrow :)

I bought a key chain about a month ago as well as the centre caps. Took the dealer about a week to get the caps, while the keychain was in the display case..... It is surprising to me that I was able to get these items with little wait, while you have to wait :confused:

Heck, call it a what you will, but its not a money making scheme, I live in the USA, and I do have a JCW keyring that I ordered a couple of weeks ago. Let me check to see how much it cost total, add in the price of an envelope and the cost to send to the UK and I will sell them to you for that amount. I will not mark them up at all. If you want one, I contact me privately, and I will let you know where to send the $, I will then order a brand new key ring. As soon as it arrives, I will ship it to you.

A JCW Cap and keyring are due to be launched as official products and will be available in all MINI dealerships. I do not know the launch date at present but please keep an eye on our website for updates.
