by the way, Charleston website still shows the Freedom docked...that page is updated every 30 minutes...other boats keeps coming and going but the Freedom stays put.

Hope there are no problems. I believe the Charleston website more than the WW showing departure.

Thanks - I think that the dark blue roof and the blue of the seats should match perfectly!! I'm getting verrry excited!

Personally, I have much more faith in the WW site. First, it's their ship. 2d, WW was accurate about the Freedom's expected date in Charleston well before the Port of Charleston website ever showed it being scheduled in.

Finally - our cars are ok. My MA told me today that Frieda was actually in the VDC on the 4th! Things are looking GOOD!

Julie is finding out for me whether our truck will go direct from OH to CA or not. She also mentioned that Fred was trying to get some cars in Florida so they have been playing the weather game, hopefully that won't delay us! I don't know why but today the waiting has become 10 times more unbearable! I am just dying for this car. :)

She is supposed to hear from Concours today. There are 4 cars total coming from Classic, AFAIK. I'm not sure what a full load truck is, or what their plans are. Julie said when she hears from Concours about timing she will let me know, and I will post here as soon as I find out.

From what I remember from my club's group buy back in June, there were 8 minis they unloaded for them... I guess, if that's the case, we comprise half the truck..... I sure hope this doesn't delay our cars any further......

Frankie, I would email Julie about that, if you don't get it soon they won't get it back before Friday! hehe.. Maybe they already sent it out. They sent my paperwork out via FedEx Overnight Saturday Delivery so it got there a week before last Saturday. They included a prepaid FedEx envelope to send my paperwork and check back, which I did on Monday and it got there Tuesday. The check has already been cleared, as my bank account sadly shows. ;)

frankie - I just got mine on Friday and promptly dropped it off that same afternoon.... I also copied it and told Julie if she needed, I can email her the copies.... she already took out my down pmt from my CC so I think I'm all set... you'll probably see it today or tom.

Yeah, gotta remember it's possible that the truck will have picked up cars *before* Ohio, and we'll be the last on board in which case it may come directly, or there may be a drop-off or two in between. In any event if we get out on time (Friday), I have a hard time believing it'll take much longer than a week, even with some drop-offs, etc.

Has anyone heard any info on the shipment arriving into Port H? According to my MA, it was supposed to arrive on 9/5. She warned me it may take a day or so to get into the system ... but I can't wait! I'm dying here! HELP! :mad:

Nope .. I haven't heard anything. All I know is it was supposed to be in on 9/5. My MA is out most of this week so I doubt I'll hear anything official until OL updates.

Wowzer Cadbury 13 days from VDC to in-your-hands? That's pretty speedy. Are U getting any dealer extras? (I'm getting a tint, OEM alarm, nose/light protectors, aux jack) man I hope mine gets to me that fast (plus a couple extra days to CO).

My MCS by 10/2? :D :D :D :eek: Jimbo

13 days for that (on the east coast at least) is easy, maybe even a long time. My car was only a few days difference between arriving at the VDC and ready for delivery at Classic MINI.

Lol, actually I have but only because Todd is in KC and in the local Mini club. He is in graphics and so he has done tons of applications for Baron and the KC Mini club. He posted that pic on the KC forums a couple of days ago. I don't know how it is out there, but here at least there is a disproportionate number of bright red vehicles - and most have Chiefs stuff on them. :D Are there tons of black vehicles with Raiders stuff on them or maroon vehicles with '49s stuff out there, or are KC fans the only weird ones? Anyway, with all the red vehicles around here I decided no CR/W for me - too common! :eek:

It *might* be at the dealer sooner, but I'll be gone all of next week and MA at Cabrio training, so the week after it has to be.... there is a chance that we'll have to postpone that day... but just having an appointment makes it all the more real....

couple dealer installed options: tint (I live in AZ!!!!), loJack (waited 9 frikin' months, not gonna wait more than 24hrs if it gets stolen), and aux audio (yay mp3 player!! figure its either that or Sat radio... and aux is cheaper :) )

Hehe, you see quite a few Raiders stickers, etc, but I have never noticed cars which are color-matched to the team of choice. :)

Unfortunately around here it is way too common. Now, don't get me wrong, I love the Chefs (our local nickname alluding to the bbq heritage, or so I like to believe.) But there are some over the top people around here. I've even seen Chiefs lawnmowers! :eek:
