Alfredo, perhaps you're taking delivery right now... Hope so! Looks like Mitch is delaying us AGAIN up north saying he won't be able to make it till tomorrow afternoon, instead of morning. *sigh*

Well just got a call from Mitch saying he delivered to Alfredo. Congrats Alfredo! :D Can't wait to see those pics. Mitch says he's still confident he'll be able to deliver tomorrow before noon, but that presents you with a problem, eh Frankie? I will PM you about that. But yeah, he is heading to Santa Barbara right now to pick up there, and then he says he's going to head out tonight towards the bay area. Presumably he is sleeping at some point along the trip, and that's why it'll take him till 'some time before noon' tomorrow. Let's cross our fingers and hope that he gets here when he says he will.

Here you go, guys... sorry for the delay... MItch kinda got lost trying to find my office bldg. In any case, I took delivery on the street..... had to go to a parent/teacher meeting right after Mitch dropped off my car..... Mitch is a nice guy and very accomodating..... Mike & Frankie - sorry wasn't able to take much pics of your cars since it was tucked way in the back and at the top level... couldn't get in there since Mitch was working furiously to get my baby down..... here's some pics.. by the way, this thing is AWESOME!!!!! I hope my little 03 MC doesn't hear me say that :)

here are some more.... did you guys notice the parcel shelf that was already installed? awesome... I guess i have to install the old one back on my 03 MC.... also, there's a lot of freebies with the car... don't want to spoil the surprise.... the keys look awesome although somewhat confusing since it's reversed now to lock/unlock the doors...... :)

I love this thing!!!! so many things different than the 03 MC that I have... super smooth gearing now..... love the SC whine... very addicting.... can't wait to get the "break in" period done...... Frankie, Mike _ I hope you get yours soon...... now how the he** will I able to get some work done now.... I just want to motor!!! :)

Alfredo, already see you have your first mod there... the antana. Just can't wait to put all the mods on it, right?! :)

Setup a wireless LAN at home, park your car inside your garage (or close to your home), sit inside your new ride, use your laptop VPN to your work place, and work inside your new ride, so you can get some work done and enjoy your 'ride'. :D

Frankie - hehehe... you noticed right away... the antennae.. it was from my other MC..... i am tempted to just sit in the car but I don't think my access point here at work would reach that far out in the parking lot... in any case, I would just be itching to drive it that being in the car wouldn't help.... thanks.... keep us updated on Mitch's progress... he's such a good guy.... you guys will like him.... :)

Hehe, glad you're loving it Alfredo! Mitch called a few hours ago as I was moving into my new place at Stanford for the year and said he's getting closer and will be here soon! He's going to call me about 30-40 minutes before he gets there, but due to time constraints from the ride I'm getting to the pickup location I may have to get to the pickup spot an hour or so sooner than he does. No biggie. :)

Frankie, got your voicemail, thanks and good luck to you too! We all have to meet up some time. :)

I'll be taking plenty of pics, which I will post ASAP after getting the car... But I still have to do a lot of moving into my new place, so I will be pretty busy. :)

I will be picking up at about 6 to 6:30, if Mitch makes it on time. He said he will have a SF pickup today, hope he does not deliver to Mike, then go to SF before delivering to me. That way, he may get stuck in the rush hour and won't make it on time. I also have my D.Cam with me, will take pics, hopefully I can upload before I go to bed tonight.

Tomorrow I have the DMV appt. already, so in the morning, I will be going to SMOG before going to work. It will be a busy day tomorrow too, but inside my MCS :D When you plan to do yours, Alfredo and Mike?!

Just an update for folks in this thread: I just passed the run-in period of 1250 miles and I'm starting to push that baby to the limit. Woo-hoo!
