So how many shopping bags can you get in the boot then??
I now find myself shopping and thinking "oh no, I can't get that as there won't be the room in the boot" and waiting till I have Hubbys car! It's a challenge trying to do the weekly shop I have to say but I am now able to get quite a lot in but only by way of very careful planning over the last 9 months of ownership !
You have to put all the hard stuff at the bottom, followed by the "just a little bit squashable" bags packed on the 2nd layer followed by the very delicate things on the top and final 3rd layer, and all in a "2 row system". This means you can get about 6 bags (3 back row, 3 front row) packed in and possbily 3 layers if you are very carefull.

My gym bag fits in very nicely (just!!) and has some space to spare for my work bag at the side.

How do you manage??

My mum always moans when I take her for the weekly shop that there is not enough room. I just look at her, frown, and fold down the back seats. I never plan I have managed to get four people in my mini and the Christmas shop, there wasn't much room and you couldn't see my niece as she was covered in bags but hay we did it. Its all part of the mini fun!

How much shopping do you do? Fold down the seats and you can get a piano in (well almost).

The boot can easily hold our weekly shopping for two :), however, I doubt if it would hold for a family of 4's shopping :rolleyes:

For a serious shopping trip to France, I would go on my own so that I can pack as much into the car as possible, and always carry an electric cool box with me :D

I take the MPV instead :p - although it is surprising how much shopping you can get in the MINI's boot.

Do shopping on internet or go in boring car, works for me :confused:
