something to look forward to for both of you, think you should do that, then wait till early next year for the JCW 220/230/240bhp:D

I'd either go BBR or get a JCW Motorsport upgrade. But with option 2 you'd be over budget? Maybe get a BBR 240 for all the cash, it's heaven in a MINI shape?

Hmmm. Get the JCW?

Or maybe spend the money on "other bits" for the car, suspension etc, and some of the money on non MINI stuff?

Abi loves driving my S around. The only problem is the red petrol light always seems to have come on when she brings it back!! :D

In all seriousness, I'd either go for the new JCW kit (210) or I'd get a cheaper 200 ish BHP conversion and spend the rest on other stuff.

Although, with more power, better suspension, brakes and the like would really help too.

I think the 'Big' power upgrades will definitely necessitate suspension and brake upgrades, hence even more dosh........... And the standard seats ain't that grippy either........JCW seats needed?

Where does it end.......... :p

Denise is the same with our S, she steals my fuel card and fills up with it though, so I never know how much juice she has used till the bill comes in ! :o :D

I vote for a more economical upgrade (go with a BBR kit!) AND a holiday - say - in the carribbean?

Dora, have you been in contact with Robert recently? I'm gonna be in his neck of the woods from this weekend, and wouldn't mind "Catching him Later" if it was any way handy to hook up!

Barrie, I think he is on holiday, hence he did not come to Switzerland for INMM2004.

He is not far from Eindhoven I think, if that helps :)

Don't buy branded jewellery, as you pay over the top for the "name".

The only exception to this rule is watches, and we are talking about big guns in Switzerland, not Swatches ;)

If you have to buy branded jewellery, buy something that is of "signature" design, such as a gem-studded panther bracelet etc... (Cartier, darling :p)

Gotta say that as much as I'd like more grunt from the MINI, I'd have to opt for the hols or the suggestion of tiffany's - a few K spent on shiny stuff hopefully excuse me from washing up duties for a year or two and thus be money well spent.

Would still have enough left for a week on Bridlington ;) :D

I think the figure has been confirmed by JCW in an e-mail to someone on here......... :)

Comments:
Is there an updated JCW kit in the pipeline that will take the hp up past 207 for the 05s? Or is the revised kit to be 207 hp? I have an 05 S on order. Thank you, Bart

[U]RESPONSE:

The new Works kit will be 210BHP for 05 models

Best regards
