Wondering if all this will work together - anyone have any ideas? I'm currently using XM Direct in my '04 MINI Cooper and I'm going to transfer it to my new '05 MCS w/ H/K. Also are antenna's standardized between XM and Sirius? If so, the new combo antenna will be cool if it plugs in and works with XM Direct.

Do you want the bmwipod thing or is a line in good enough ? Right now you can have xm direct and a line in.

Who knows if any adaptors out now will work with the new head unit.

I'd prefer to have the bmwipod thing.. but aux in will work I know that. Know if there are any converters for the Sirius to XM antennas through the blitzsafe box?

It will be interesting to see if XM Direct works with the 2005 radios. I have a feeling that if it doesn't - Blitzsafe will figure out a way to crack it soon.

No I haven't heard of an antenna converter. On my last car I mounted the antenna inside by the windshield and I got as good of reception as I get now with the antenna on the roof. I plan on putting it inside on the mini too but haven't had time yet.

I mounted the XM Direct Antenna behind the Sat Nav Sharkfin and while fitting the XM Direct boxes around the HK Amplifier is tight it does fit
the XM Direct module is out of sight to the left of the HK amp I used one of the HK Amp mounting tray bolts for a rattle free mounting I secured the Radio antena with 4 little dots of Dow corning silcone adhesive to detere sticky fingers and perhaps being dislodged with a sprat when being washed I also sealed the slit in the accordian cable cover at the top of the hatch where I threaded the cable in to the car with the same stuff
I use the aux input right now for my iPod but I have heard that the IceLink from denison can dasychain into the blitzesafe box with out any problems
