Hey there everyone - nice to be back after a long break.
I am interested to find out if there is anyone who has fitted seats other than the factory supplied airbag jobbies.
I have just managed to get my itchy digits on a very snug Sparco EVO2 seat that has Miniminiminiminiminiminimini written all over it. To that end I am after other peoples stories on what they had to do in order to fool the computer that all's well on the airbag front. After talking to sales guys they said you can get a plugs that plug into the end of the airbag signal cable. I then went to the spares counter and they gave me a distinctly blank look. I told them what the sales guy said about the plug and needing it for the JCW seats, and then parts promptly started chasing the topic up through JCW - which worries me as it may turn out to be alot more expensive than it really needs to be.
Anyone gone through this? Can you give me any ideas?
