I think a contest would be pretty cool! I wouldn't enter because I am not very good at designing but I can recreate just about anything I see pretty good though!

Actually, if we don't want to do a contest, the MoT committee (who?) should commission Gabe Bridger for a few $. As many of you probably know, he's recently out of work & unfortunately can't expect to make a living from MotoringFile.com [THE best source of up-to-date news for MINIacs].

Can't you put Gabe to work marketing your latest invention..?

Or let him promote your most recent film?

I can't believe they ask for 60 or even 40 for that thing.

If you're cheap, lazy, and want quick&easy, Wet a paper towel, wrap the dog in it, and stick it in the microwave for 30 seconds! Freshly steamed and good.

Of course a charcoal grill is the best way to go.

Yes, smoking in flavor is important, but that's missing the other important half...direct flame!

Where I used to work...big hardwood fire. The best way to cook:

I refuse to be pulled any further into the BBQ wars.

But big fires are for burning down houses, not for cooking food. Superheated coals are what you want.

Uh oh. I think I just enlisted.

We could call it MAMA's Fish House Catering/

The menu would be easy. Frozen Cod cakes.

Sorry guys, but they REALLY know how to do it down south. Once I bought a small cooler when I was in Oklahoma and brought back a cooked rack from Earl's Rib Palace. YUM!

You've not had a meal from my garbage can smoker. If I ever get the energy I'll consider firing it up in the spring. I've a BBQ sauce of my own that will melt you into submission, and my rhubarb coolers are truly memorable.

Gee, maybe MOT2005 should start at your house? :p Though seeing the crowds melting into submission might not be a pretty sight...

That band...Stray Bullets that I did a video for, is playing Pearl St. on December 17. Unfortunately there are also like 6 or 8 other bands. Once I find out from them what time they think they will play, BOoBS should go.

BOoBS are your friend, always up for fun and excitement. I'll wear my best polyester suit.

Huh. I'm rethinking the polyester. Maybe a nice tweed jacket with the elbow patches? One of those turtlenexk dickies?

Does anyone that posts on these boards work at Bowditch & Dewey in Worcester? I went there to interview for an internship a few weeks ago and as soon as I pulled in their parking lot there was a red Mini with a black roof and the lot attendants said there are 4 Minis there! I will be starting my internship there the second week of January so I will have to find out who owns them!

probably easier to do once you are there. So, the MINI made the difference in getting the position, huh? Good luck. What's the name of that folding machine I was king of once, a Stahl??

The Mini didn't make a difference in getting my internship. I don't know the names of the folding machines. Do you still work in printing? I can't wait to be out of it! I have been doing it for way too long!
