Went in yesterday to pay my deposit for November 1st MCS - choosen Pepper white black roof and black bonnet stripes. However I have a couple of weeks to change my mind on the colour etc. I currently have a black mini so I decided for something different. Hence I ruled out black and green and metallic black! :p

I went in the to dealer yesterday having convinced my self red with a white roof and white stripes was the colour i wanted. However whilst at the dealership a pepper white drove in and I loved it and changed my mind instantly :D

Whilst iff-ing and arrh-ing about the visibility pack I got shown a new cooper in the metallic black and its TOTALLY different from the old metallic black it has like a blue tinge.

Unfornuately the car was stuck in a dark-ish show room and I couldn't see it properly but it looked really nice has any got any pics of this??

I'm getting a pepper white / black MC in September. Started off thinking I would order chilli red / white but have already had a red car before and thought I should have something different. Also, you see lots of chilli red minis but I've hardly seen any pepper white ones around (although weirdly, there is one which parks in the carpark where I work!!! Boo hoo!). Really love electric blue but that's naff on a cooper (IMHO) - I know I'd be peeved if I owned a MCS in EB! Like BRG but thought it was a bit dark - plus I was trying to keep price down and just get the things I really wanted!

Anyway, pepper white will look great :-) Can't wait to get mine!

That was my thought. Before I saw the one drive in the dealership I don't think i have consciously seen one on the road in person - instant love at first sight! :rolleyes:

I have gone off the red because, as you said, it common and secondly because I think it sticks out too much. (electric blue also is too common and it would look like a wannabe MCS)

The reason I like dark colours like my current black is, personally, I think it look amazing when its chucking down with rain or on a really sunny day when it has been tarted up and polished it just looks so good! (although there is the flip side of having to keep it clean).

The metallic black is probably too similiar to my current black so I'm almost convinced on the pepper white.

When did you order your mini? I basically paid the deposit yesterday and im getting it 1st november (and I could of got it earlier!). Last time I ordered it was like a 6 months wait and the dealer I went to last time can't get one in till feburary - maybe I have found a secret super mini dealer?

That looks a very pure white rather than the slightly off-white of PW. Is it just the pics that make it look like that or do you think it was a special paint job?
