Ok here is the deal!

For those of you who don't know already, Next year Paramount’s Kings Island is launching a new and exiting ride called Italian Job Stunt Track. Seen here

I have arranged an opening day (2005) gathering of Mini's (new and old!) to participate in a very festive launch of the park and this new ride!

THIS IS BREAKING NEWS AND THERE ARE MORE EXITING THINGS TO COME.
THERE WILL BE A SIGN-UP AND ENTRANCE TO THE PARK ARAINGEMENTS MADE. DATES HAVE NOT BEEN SET YET, BUT KEEP CHECKING BACK TO THIS THREAD FOR MORE BREAKING INFO.

Oh yeh! That might be the must attend event of next summer. That or the grand prix. Should be moved to Indy by then, so I should see you there.

My Dad just showed me this and I can't wait.

Question, will Cooper Oweners/Drivers get to "Test it" before the general public because opening day will be pretty hard to get into that new ride. Perhaps if we had a sign up sheet we might pursuade the park to let us test it before the park officaly opens or something.

That is correct. There will be a signup sheet for this. Not quite to that point yet. I will be speaking with them again within the next few weeks about a rough date and special package involving us doing this with them. This will all be unfolding over the winter. But I do want to know the date first and formost.

How will it fit in with Dragon '05 - ~2nd weekend in May

Also, MOT '05 - ~Father's day weekend (3rd Sunday)

I've always wanted to go to Kings Island and I would definitely be up to drive up on opening day, just let me know when it is.

Yes I would love have everyone gather again before the show like we did last year.
