Sorry if this has been mentioned previously, just wondering though as the Gear box has been revised with the new S as in Gear Ratios different, has the Gearbox in the D changed in anyway as it was exactly the same Previously? :confused:

YES. I don't have the ratios but it is quicker off the line :D

This might be slightly off topic, or not. I was curious about the spec's of the Mini D, tranny. Is it totally different than the S's anyone know what the hp rating is?

I was just sort of curious if the thing could bolt up to an S (I know the D is a smaller motor), because based on the ratio's, you'd get into the power range a lot quicker in 1st gear and in 6th gear, you could keep the rpm's a lot lower, perhaps improving freeway mileage significantly.

Just an idea i was kicking around in my head.
