Quick headcount: There were 37 people at PITS some came and went during the day. There were 21 cars all up. :)

Great to hear you had a good day too Todd :D Wasn't cobra weather for us today - when we set out at 7.30 this morning it was raining. On the way home it topped 38 degrees on the thermometer. A lot of us got pretty burnt. Almost didn't put the sunscreen on this morning cause it looked so miserable. Am very glad that I did.

Well, what a fab day.

A HUGE thankyou to our 'organisers' Al and Kerrie for keeping everyone in line and making sure the day ran as smoothly as it did :D Well done :D

Fantastic turnout. Loads of colours, MANY new faces, including International visitors. wow so much happened today :D

From garage back to garage, Obsession clocked 437.5kms! Impressively, all on one tank, and considering the driving, and the fact that she still said there was 90 K or so to go! :D

Fantastic to meet our UK friends :D Hope you enjoyed your drive today! Pleasure meeting you all :D Hopefully I'll catch up with you again at Costwolds in August

Thankyou to everyone who participated in the drive, and cheers for making it probably the biggest and most exciting one we've had to date.

Man, how cool are these MINIs! :D

Resizing my piccies now :D

Hi Guys,

I just got home, thank goodness im still in one piece & my car is fine, a tad dirty ( bugs mainly ) but thats okay, ill be washing my cooper soon anyways before it gets dark.

Glad i stuck around today the roads where really cool, a few of the roads i was worried about as they where so narrow.

How hot was it today, reached 39.5 degrees i think.

Its been awhile since i went on a run with you guys, i forgot how much fun the drives where :D, so when is the next run ?

I was impressed with Harrigans, very nice place, just had a few drinks in the sports bar & watch some basketball.......a nice cold beer would of been nice, but being on green P plates i guess it was best i drank coke. lol

Only 29 days until im on my full licence anyways......cant wait. :p

Daniel

Ps: I'll post a few photos that Gareth took when he sends them over.

Great shots guys! (Scotty)

Maybe someone could post a list of who was each person in each car/shot... I know most faces - but not all...

Who's car has the car-bra on it? I was just wondering what it is worth...

Damn I wish I coulda had the CR/B up there... :(

Looks like it was a great turn out, great drive, great food and a great cause! GREAT! :D

A huge thank you to all who attended todays event, thank you for your co operation, patience and most of all your generosity. $1,000 is a significant amount from a small gathering such as ours today.
A special THANK YOU to the magnifecent Ks, Kerrie, Karen and Kellie for their paper work and pathfinding. It wouldn't have gone as smoothly without you. :D :D :D :D .
It was a pleasure to see so many new faces and MINIs (I feel like I'm driving an old clanger seeing so many 2005's).
The Buttons and company had an absolute blast, and I thank you all for making them so welcome.
So untill the next one.

MINI owners might have small cars, but they have BIG Hearts.
