Hi - I've seen a number of posts on dial bezels, but has anyone actually compared the quality viz different mail order suppliers?
The prices vary widely - are they all similar or do you "get what you pay for" ?
thanks in advance

You can retrofit the OEM mini bezels which are accessible via your dealer, or from mikey www.newministuff.com . As for quality, I havent heard anyone complain about the quality of any chrome bezel, they just work out more expensive than mini ones as they are chromed aluminium or stainless steel.

The above is correct, its due to material Metal is the most expensive plastic ones are quite cheap. People seem to prefer metal. The irony is I believe most of the orig mini interior is plastic. I have a combination of both, you cannot tell the difference.
Loads on ebay search BMW mini chrome

yeh i have a combo too, bought on ebay at different times, you can't tell the difference. Only thing to (maybe) watch out for is the different styles...
there are some which are just a ring which sort of stick on only to the top of the original (so you can still see the original grey bits) or there are the ones which completely replace them- these are the ones I have, look better, obviously less 'stuck on' IMO. If that makes sense
