Me too! I see from OL that my scheduled date is 4/15 also. I'll be flying in to pick it up the end of the following week however.

Still no word from my MA on the Est Delivery Date being true, in a way, I hope it is, because that means (duh!) I can get my car faster! And, in a way, I hope it isn't... Because I won't have the ability to pick Him up till Friday... Unless, of course, I can sell my current car today or tomorrow... Oh, the AGONY!!! :(

Okay - Here's what I've been able to figure out for those of us with Minis on the Andes Highway. As of 10:33 this morning, the boat is scheduled to dock in Charleston 4/12 - hopefully Tuesday morning. According to the port of Charleston web site (thanks to Ken30307 ;) ) Workers start offloading boats at 8 am.

The Andes Highway has been assigned a terminal - which I think is good news :cool:

For those of you monitoring the Resolve, it is scheduled to dock in Charleston on 4/14 - no terminal yet assigned as its still too far away :(

Now how do I get my special March '05 mini support group T-shirt? :rolleyes:

I'm back in Atlanta..and time has reallllllllly slowed down. Yeah..the Resolve lands in Charleston on the 14th..that's 3 years away. I'm still assuming a week in Charleston including travel to Atlanta..and then 3 days at the Dealer...so that's the 25th. I'm sure I'll get it before then..but that's the outside date. If there's a speedy turnaround..it could be as soon as the 16th??

I'm pretty pooped out on waiting at this point and I'm self medicating with cookies.

Update: OL says enroute, phone "at port .." = no change :( + no call from MA yet

Options: I received an email from MINIUSA asking me what I preferred - linked to button quiz/multiple choice option, click and send w/ message indicating it was forwarded to MINI North Scottsdale (Phoenix, AZ). I believe the dealer signs you up for email notifications. There is a thread under tracking in the OL. Off to work :) Scott

If it makes you feel any better - me too! I haven't heard from my MA yet (I think he has today off), but I know my MINI is there waiting for me to pick him up this coming weekend. At least this time next week we will be motoring...or I'll be eating lunch in my office (like now) and staring out the window at my little :yellow: MINI wishing I were out driving him around. Will the weekend ever come?

Got the call from East Bay Mini - I'm picking up my baby on Friday! Unfortunately, it looks like I'm not going to get ANYTHING for my trade-in (they might actually charge me :)) but who cares - I'M GETTING A MINI! :)

Dang....we FINALLY just got "The Call" from our MA a few minutes ago. We are gonna hop a train up to the Windy City (yep, that was Chicago) on wednesday afternoon to pick 'er up. I didn't think (at times) that this day would ever get here!
Hype..I'm guessing yours made it too?? My guess is that the truck didn't make it until today or late last night, but either way we should be good to go.

Hi - Yes, I posted a couple of days ago my status - same as yours - and said I'd be in Chicago on business for a couple days (not crazy) - looking forward to seeing more MINI's - they are all over here. Just had lunch at Miller's, been down at the peer, looks like it might rain. Much busier than rural AZ :) So no news is good news ..... right? :confused:

Not me...my MA found a car pretty much exactly like what I wanted except it didn't have the heated seats and the anthracite interior...I could have had the car in 3 days...but instead I waited...and waited...and waited...

but the idea of having a car made expecially for me is pretty incredible...

Patience is a virtue :)

Just think, next time you order a MINI it'll be easier knowing what the wait is like :p And you know you'll order another MINI !!! :cool:

I AM at Global Imports...but I thought your car was on a different ship..I'm on the Resolve..I figure I'll get "The Call" anywhere between the 16th and the 25th.

Yes :) The smelt is in season so I had the local special. This is a great area of town, though parking must be a challenge!
