OK, I don't know where to find the right info. ask-mini says the car is en route, call my dealer. My dealer says he can't see any vessel info. tracking shows my VIN curently assigned to madame butterfly, previously assigned to tancred, previously assigned to don quijote. Every few days it changes. Online status changed to waiting for ship to en route after a week, and then it changed vessel to tancred. It changed to madame butterfly today. Is the W&W site not accurate? How do I find out for sure where the car is?

Your story is the same as mine. My dealer states that my car will arrive in Charleston, SC on 2/23. Ask MINI states that my car is "en route". I was on the Tancred and then it was changed to Madame Butterfly today. I am going to my dealer tonight to straighten out this mess.

I went up today and my MA said it is still on the dock waiting to get on a ship. THe mini site is wrong, it is not en route yet.

YOW did my schedule ever get moved up! I emailed mini today and they looked it up on thier end. It shipped the 11th! They didn't have any other info, so I'm trying to find what line it went on, I know it's not W&W.

So mini online WAS right, the W&W site was wrong for two weeks, and so is my MA!

My new MCS has been in the same situation since it came off the production line on 2/9/05. By matter of deduction, the best I can figure out is that my car has been shipped on K-Line and the ship is the Emden, due into Charleston on 2/25, which lines up with the info from my MA. The WW site was just a plain mess.. always changing and now with no info at all for my VIN. Hope that helps....

Well, my MA is next to useless. He doesn't have any current info, he just says to call Mini...who said, call the dealer!! My MA still says it's on the dock, and he doesn't get any vessel info or Bill of Lading info. So I have no idea what ship mine is on, or where it's going. It could turn up in SC in a couple days, or it might be in CA in a week or two - who knows :(

There's a chance our cars are next to each other, mine also rolled off the 9th.

Where is your Mini headed once off loaded? Mine is headed for Orlando :)

Hey there... Mine is also headed here to Tampa ... I currently Booked on the Madame Butterfly... have been the whole time... it say's its supposed to board the ship tomorrow... so far everything has been in line with what mini and my MA said... hopefully it will stay on the Madame Butterfly and then we'll probably both get our MINI's the same time..

Infin3 - when did the Emden set sail? I do know that mine left port the 11th, that's all Mini can tell me.

djbohne - ours are definitely not going to be the same time if you get on a W&W. Yours will be at least a week behind mine, probably 2. Until your mini is actually SAILING on a W&W boat, you don't even know if it WILL BE on a W&W boat. The W&W site is useless for pre-boarding. Mine showed for over a week on the W&W site when it was in fact already sailing on the K-line. Who knows, you may find out in a day or so that you are in the same boat (pun intended).

The only way for you to find accurate info right now is to email mini.

I believe as per the k-line web site that the Emden was to leave South Hampton around the 11th. It was to go to Baltimore first and then onto Charleston. I haven't got any official word from Mini that in fact this is whast happened, but the dates and shipping routes line up with this.... If you goto the Port of Charleston web site and look at the ships due in on the 25th, the only car carrier due in is the Emden. Hope this helps..

Also my Vin is not found anymore when searching the W&W site.. it was first listed for the Tancred, and then for the Butterfly, only to be not found a couple of days later.. go figure.

I have no clue what ship my MCSA is on. It was completed on 1/24. It is due into port Hueneme on 2/25 I think. MA has no clue. ASK MINI....ROFL -> NO CLUE. Just relax and enjoy the wait. Good things come to those who wait. Your MA will call you when it gets to port if you ask them to.

well thought I was supposed to get on a boat today... nope... ww site says the ship has sailed but I think it forgot all the MINI's that sitting at the port..haha..not one has switched to loaded onto vessel... figure I've waited this long..what's a couple more weeks..haha..

At least some are loaded now. Not mine though...

Oh I hope mine is on there...no one will tell me where she is!!!

I also am clueless about what happened to my MINI. Supposedly was completed 2-23-05, and booked on Madam Butterfly. Then the ship sailed without me and I was booked on the Resolve. Now my tracking number means nothing to the WW website. I haven't called MINI or my MA yet as I hate to be a pest, but an update would be nice!

That means you are on a K-Line ship and cannot track it.

Hello all- I am just wondering if any of you have heard anymore about your cars? Mine is sitting in a port right now (according to MINI) and I fear that the same thing that happened to you is going to happen to me! What is the difference between sailing on a WW ship and a K-line (other than you cannot track a K-Line?) Has anyone heard about NYK shipping? (I heard they are the ones that carry the west coast cars... Any positive or negative experiences? anything at all? :indi:

I'm now convinced that my MCS came over on the K-line Emden as in the Mini OL I now have a projected delivery date of 3/5/05. Counting down the remaining days now will really be hard.

The long wait is over. I picked up my new DS / B MCS this afternoon. What a pure pleasure driving it home, but the only down side was the rainy Orlando weather. I'm looking forward to tomorrow and some dryer driving conditions to enjoy my new car. I hope the wait isn't to long for the rest of you.

Same for me! I just did a few hours of 'getting to know it' driving - and OMG I couldn't be happier! I'm having a BLAST just in the break-in range! Couple minor problem, I think related to the dealer install of the Ipod adaptor, but I'll get it worked out. LOVE the car, LOVE the color!

I should be getting mine at the end of next week or first of the week after.... what kind of problems are you having with your iPod adaptor??? I have yet to commit to getting one installed.. I've read about deson's ice link or MIni's official adaptor... I want to get something in soon so I can start listening to my iPod in there... I too am getting mine from Ferman MINI... let me know
