Hi Guys & Gals,

I am coming to LAS VEGAS in the second week in June this year and wondered if there are any friendly Mini2 groups / clubs in the area who fancy meeting up for a beer etc?

I've posted this on the National thread as I have no idea which regional group this should be posted on - any Moderators please feel free to move as required!

If you don't mind me asking - How did you / why did you hook up with them?

I looked at them because I was planning on a trip to Vegas myself this year...but unfortunately it will have to be put off till next year. They said I would be more than welcome at one of their meets. Shame coz I was really looking forward to it. It looks like they have loads of fun too! :D
I'll just have to stick with snowy england for now :rolleyes:

Make sure you check out the Ghost Bar at the top of Palms or the Voodoo Lounge on top of the Rio. The only Minis will be of the short skirted variety but I can assure you its a great view from the 51st floor. ;) ;)

If you look hard you may be able to see a Mini on the Strip.... :D

As a soon to be Sin City resident, I agree with Vanwall. Sin City MINIs is a great club and I hope to go on some drives with them soon. :)

There's a few places I think you'd enjoy.

Places to avoid... especially in the summer, here in vegas.

seriously, skip the Hoover Dam snore trip, there are no twisties in Vegas so forget that...
There really are no areas that would enhance a MINI drive out here. The sharpest turns are 350 miles South West ;)

If you're into Drifting, Vegas has some great roads to slide on ;) (or so I assume heheheh)

And as the moral of this post, I say... you can fulfill all your MINI needs, desires, and fixes ,... In SoCal.

There are 2 groups...

One = It's not HOW you get there, it's the destination..
The Other = It's not where you're going, it's the RIDE.

Eseential there is a social club and a driving club.
Depends on your mood.

Thanks VegasD. I find the fun drives in the LV area are all in my Jeep. You are right that the roads in SoCal are much more fun for a MINI.

Vegas + 4X4 = BIG :D

there are even some offroad adventure groups in the area, and of course , the giant pink 4x4 tour Trucks!
