Andy, would you mind checking if they did a ECU update (Version 33.2)? The technician just emailed me that a recent Service Bulletin says version 33.2 is supposed to help with this problem as well as the cold start and rough idle condition.
I am due in for service (clicking steering, ECU upgrade and other minor fixes) tomorrow and wish to re-confirm with anyone out there that has this s/w update done and actually improved or cured the surging/yo-yo problem. TIA! :)
With the ambient temperature rising, this yo-yo problem is simply getting worst. It is downright annoying!
