40 (just) and driving a 2003 S since new.

I'm 30 and drive MOD.

What's funny to me (and I know this thread is old)..but the ones who always starts a "How old are you- what do you drive" thread - ever notice how they are started by the one who just so happens to think they are the youngest on the board to own a new car? You would never see a 40 year old start this type of thread... You might get them to think maybe they shouldn't respond in this thread, but never see one as the starter... just something that makes me laugh....
oh and i'm 38 btw with an '06 cooper S ;)

I'm going to be 21 in Aug. (can't wait) and I drive an '03 Cooper S! Insurance is expensive though, work alot to keep up on all the payments, but I love it!

37 and drive a recently bought 2002 Cooper or on special occasions (when it starts!) a 1988 Mayfair;)

Whats insurance like over that side of the lake?
Very expensive here, £1000's (even more in $1000's of dollars) a year for 17/18 year olds on Ones/Coopers

Yea, that sucks, but are they on their own policy or their parents? I'm on my father's insurence, so it's cheaper for me.
