Im 19 and just did an insurance quote for a cooper S and it was £5500. That was with 1 years NCB etc.

Northern Ireland is so gay for insurance, i want to live in England and get an S, the roads are better too as I found out last weekend.:D

19 with an 01 ONE with all mods declared im paying £760.

thats pretty good! i suppose a lot of specialist insurers dont insure NI drivers, which is why its so high for an s. which is disgusting i think, your in the UK you should be treated the same!

the price for insurance on an S suddenly drops when im 21 coming 22 to £1400 or something, then 23 it goes down to £850 as i worked out on confused.com

I will just have to wait but I will enjoy the ONE until then.:D

20, 3 yeas NCB, 2002 MCS £1200

I'm 37 (cough) and drive a 55plate Checkmate Cooper S with Minispeed Stage 3 conversion and a few other mods. Had it 3 weeks now and loving it.

I am 40....going on 25 and have just purchased a mini one 2005......my husband tells me I am having a mid life crisis having a mini because he says that every time he sees someone driving a mini it is a 40 something woman trying to look young LOL....how rude :frown:
