Yes, that will be very interesting. Whomever doesn't get an extra car on the grid will be crying foul. I say, give the extra cars to Minardi and Jordan. No, no, I say, give both extra cars to Williams. That would be the best. :D :p

In all seriousness, I think Mosley and his ways have bashed F1 up to something frail. I do think most of the major teams will split and form their own racing league. F1 needs to select rules and regulations at the beginning of each season and bloody stick with them come hell or high water. No more changing rules and qualifying every other race. Bloody silly.

I personally think F1 is much more interesting this year than it has been in years. :)
Not changing everything for the next race makes the teams think about what they are doing. It's now based on strategies and the drivers working with the car. As we saw with Michael Schmacher's performance at San Marino.

The thing is, is it interesting because Schumacher isn't winning or because of some thing Mosely did with the rules?

I am yet to see anything he has done that has actually made the racing better, qualifying is a joke and simply should go back to the old twelve lap days or a variation of this... The new two race engine rule is useless and really hasn't caused anymore failures really than previous years.

I say bring back slicks and dare I say it a control tyre. Tyre testing is the biggest cost. Also limit testing to 30 days or whatever, those with limitless budgets should be able to run wild. Yes they will find new areas to spend the excess cash but at least the effect will be not as wide as it currently is.

Anyway thats my rant... :D :D :D

I love F1 the way it is right now too! Qualifying adds a sense of uncertainty that makes you want to watch it drivers have to be at wits end for two laps and makes for a far more exciting event than Shumachre comingout and smashing every one with 30 seconds to go in the qualifying sector.

I'm not biased about who wins or loses in F1 I love most drivers for their ability to drive cars at their absolute limit in the pinnacle of motorsport. I favour Mark Webber as a driver because he drives for BMW and I drive a BMW... but I love Shumacher and heck I even loved Mika Hakkinen!

I like a competitive race... I think slicks should be returned though (what is the point of grooved tyres!?!) Fvck it, I think ciggie advertising should be allowed again!

Competition is formula 1's best friend... Honda BAR have been deemed to have had an unfair weight advantage, they are cheats according to the FIA. Who stands to benefit from that fact!?!
