Not sure if that's been confirmed, or just rumoured.

Ch 10 has been showing the V8's Hidden Valley round. Fantastic racing, very close every step of the way. Dumbrell and Whincup are prob prime enemy No. 1 for Ingall. Between those 3 the racing was very clean and close.

Webber dumped by Williams (http://foxsports.news.com.au/story/0,8659,20003087-23770,00.html)

This is a bit friggin rude. How about making a bloody car that can finish a race FFS!

Still, Mark is from Queanbeyan after all … so being out of work won't be new to him. :D

I reckon he stands more chance of winning a race WITHOUT a car than he has driving for Williams.....

Wow... Mark has put up with a lot of crap from Williams and stuck with them in the very bad times for them. Seems Flavio will have his way now... wonder how long till the Renault announcement comes out ;).

Good luck to Mark. He's shown loyalty, but Williams... tffeh!

I can't believe Williams have dumped him, WHY? Like Liam said build a car that can finish a race FFS! I suppose Wurz can offer more sponsorship now that williams are a privateers team...
Anyway he'll be in a Renualt or McLaren now (hopefully). Then again a Newey designed Cosworth Power Redbull would be pretty sweet too...

This is a good thing - we may now actually be able to see his real talent, instead of having to share his frustration at driving a car that has more chance of dying on him, than finishing a bloody race!!! It's a testament to him that he didn't spit the dummy first and quit the team. I'd just like to see him in a reliable car for a change (as I am sure he can't wait to drive one)!!

Let's hope Nico Rosberg can maybe escape too - and maybe get something decent to drive!! That way we can find out if his first race podium finish was a fluke.

Every cloud has a silver lining. Can't wait to see who he's signing with.

Well said. Very true. Webber's a legend, he'll be snapped up in a heartbeat

I think any team would be happy to have Webber aboard as the 'laidback Aussie' attitude would be a lot easier to deal with than some of the more 'emotional' Europeans or 'prima donna' Americans :tongue:

I am pretty gald I waited to post on Webber, it seems that most have covered off my feelings...... bit of a slap in the face for a good driver that has hung around through all that crap.

I hope for their sake that Strasburg is as good as they think he might be.

I also hope that webber gets a decent car and just "pants down" williams.

I have a feeling that Webber will end up at Renault next year. Since Flavio manages him and he's the best option (short of Kimi) for next year. I think that Kimi will go with Ferrari next year. Just a thought.

Red Bull is the current theory.

Red Bull is the current theory.

Watching the Speed Report (tv program in the US)... Peter Windsor mentioned a quote from Bernie which said, Kimi going to Renault to go head to head with Ferrari would be great, but that's not going to happen. Indicating that Kimi is going to Ferrari

It's all in the air for us, we'll have to wait and see... I knowl

Hey, just something of a coincidence.. Button was recently on Top Gear saying he'd give up his wealth etc for his first F1 win.... and look what happens....

I was saying that today actually... Clarkson can claim that win ;).

Yeah, except, I reckon it sounded like he was saying he'd give up everything for his first win, but later on he said something to indicate he meant he'd give up everything to be World Champion. Either way, it was a nice lead up to his first win.
