: HELP! Buckling Two Kids Under 3??

I'll soon have a forward facing 3-yr old kid and a 6-month old rear facing baby. The car seats fit fine and the 3-yr old will probably be able to buckle himself in, but logistically I don't know if I'll be able to buckle in the 6-month old -- there just doesn't seem to be enough room back there for me to do this unless I can contort my body like a circus freak or be like ElastiGirl in The Incredibles.

How are others doing this???

I imagine things get easier when both kids are forward facing...

I have two children , granted one is older , but depending on the weight of the three year old (my little boy is 3) he is in a booster seat , which dont take up much room . The baby should be in the back cos of air bags . Make sure the seat is as far rorward as it can go , then flip it forward , no worries , had both of mine in a non sensible Cabriolet (not Mini) when Oliver was in a carry seat . Good luck .

Put the little one in the front (have the dealer switch off the airbag) and the older one facing front in the backseat. And then 3 runs for groceries... (no room left ;) )
