I received a call from my MA today which confirns my MCS is indeed on the Procyon Leader :). The dealer's computers show it is expected to dock in Port Hueneme on either the 11th or 12th (I hope they are just being pessimistic.) He expects I can pick it up 7-10 days later.

This is going to be the longest two weeks of my life!

That photo is taken in Wilmette IL (just north of Chicago and just north of where I live) with the Bahai Temple in the background. Here's another taken just down the street (http://motoringfile.com/pictures/gb_mcs/hood2.JPG).

I get to pick up my car this Saturday and play with it for the weekend before I return it to the dealer on Monday to have the aero kit installed and pick it up again later next week. I realize the rational thing to do would be to just wait for the dealer to install the kit and then pick it up, but when has MINI and rational had anything to with each other.

The Procyon Leader is expected in Port Hueneme on Saturday June 11. The MINIs have been floating since May 18th. I sure hope they get over their sea legs quickly. :)

Stopped by my MINI dealer today to give him the final list of dealer options. He continues to tell me that they can't track the ships :confused: and that I knew more about where my MINI was then he did. THANKS MINI2 FORUMS. ;)

My MA went on and on about the next two weeks, but all I really want is info from him. :bad:

Hmm, ASK MINI now says the status of my MCS is "At the port awaiting a shipping vessel". I guess that means my MINI is finally at status 196 :)!

Is this the last update I will be able to get from ASK MINI?

So here goes: order my blk, conv., auto, S on May 14 from Crevier, went into prod on May 16th (lucky me). Born on 5/25, boarded the Pacific Breeze 5/29, schedualed for west coast 6/20 and I should get it before july. Does anyone have any info on the Pacific Breeze ? And yes I realize how lucky I have been with my timming on this mini.

I've only been here a short time but I can tell you what I know.
I looked on NYK Lines Ro/Ro fleet list and the Pacific Breeze is am NYK ship, sorry. There is no way to track online the Pacific Breeze.

The dates you have are estimated, but really close. Go to nyklines.com and from there you can call and find out more. Make sure you have a Bill of Lading(they like that) and ask for Ro/Ro group (Ro/Ro Roll on/Roll off)

Good Luck, I'm with nmlacoopers, the Procyon Leader discharged my MINI and now I have to wait for updates from my dealer.

By being in MINI2 you will learn more than your dealer, I think they get too many questions so they would rather plead ignorant. :confused: :red:

Pinto i think ou are right on. I was at the dealer the other day (turning in my gigantic Escalade-Yay!) and I asked my MA some questions...he didnt know and I had to come to this forum to get them cleared up. Sometimes too much info is not good but not this time!

Welcome, Minibull! I'm a fellow bully parent of a slobbery huggable Lord Byron Maxwell. I can't wait to load him into the convertible. It might be the only car he can get into on his own! I pick the car up this weekend, so I'm getting the camera ready! :p

Yee-hah - I just talked with my dealer! My car is supposed to arrive in N California Saturday, and I have a "pencilled-in" appointment for Sunday. I'll take delivery, pay them, then leave my new toy with them for a few dealer-added things whilst I head out for eight days of biking in the mid-west.

You can bet that during the "slog" portions of the ride, my mind will be wandering back to Nor-Cal....

I'll be back to pick her up for real on July 4th. Cool - the car was born on my birthday, and I'll get her in my hands on Independence Day. Kind of Karmic, eh ? ;)

My estimated delivery date has been set to 06/19/2005! Sucks that it will be in on a Sunday (dealership is closed) but I will be motoring before mid next week!!!

In the OL I'm at VDC, I have no delivery date yet, I'm hoping for the 25th. but Ralph Schomp in Denver will probalby make me wait another week. :(

It shows up in thre order detail under MINI dealer.

Ohh, Im going to go look for my delivery date right now...its supposed to dock in port huneme on 6/20, I might be motoring by my birthday (7/4).

I share your frustration... "en route" at the owners lounge and "at the docks" (port hueneme) at askmini...

Just checked ASK MINI to see if it has any new information and it does! My MCS is "In transit" again as it makes its way to Albuquerque by lorry!

Seeing as it probably left yesterday my dealer should see it today. If not then tomorrow :). Oh please let it be today!
