I've been waiting sooooooooo long

I live 2 1/2 hours from Denver, so I need to make sure everything is ready when I take delivery.

My New Red Little Car is at the dealer getting a final prep.
A cd changer, a clear bra and tinted windows.

I'm not really thrilled with Ralph Schomp in Denver, I had to call them and let them know they had the car.

I guess they are a big dealer, but they should at least make me feel like I'm a real customer.

nmlacoopers we haven't heard from you since you got your car, we need more pictures!!!

I would love to see pictures of the clear bra installed. Sorry about the brush off, but hey its here!

Happy motoring is ahead!

Cheers.

Wow, the PW/B looks great!

I am so happy for you. :D

Also, we need pics on the inside, what does it look like? Did you go with the chrono or nav, because I see two guages on the steering wheel.

Enjoy.

No inside pics yet. I just saw it at the dealer, sitting there waiting the extras to be installed. It was still locked up, and the inside had the plastic over the seats, cardboard over the inside door panels and plastic over interior accents. Yes, i did get the Chrono pack, I just prefer to have the speedo in front of the steering wheel...call me traditional. So I am waiting for the following to be installed:

Clear bra
Alarm
Interior chrome accents (I didn't order it originally, and regretted not getting it later when I saw other people's cars without it. It just adds a bit of contrast to the Anthricite interior)
Rear fog light (also second my choice of not adding it at the factory).

I'll try and get you pics of my partner's Hyper Blue MCS, he had the clear bra installed, and it looks awesome!. the only problem is when waxing, you gotta take some extra time to clean the edge or you'll have a white line at the seam. Minor inconvenience, but well worth the future heartache. I've had regular bras on cars of the past, and they all did more damage than good. In addition, you had to take them off when they got wet or serious paint fading could result.

Have an excellent weekend! :)

I finally got the clear bra installed. Not sure that I think of the pre-cut xpel kit, since it doesn't cover the entire front - but it was safer to have installed than the razor blade method.

Anyway, I attached a few pictures - to highlight what you can see, I don't even notice it now and feel much better knowing it is there.

Cheers.

Abbydog; the clear bra looks good and you'll be glda you got it!

I finally got that long Mtn road I've been waitin for!!!!

Maxwell did great :D :D Bobbing and weaving through the tight turns, zipping past the slow pokes. Maxwell was handling EVERYTHING I threw at him, I even got a bit scared. It will take some getting used to but 70-80 on high mtn curves is enough to scare any one. AND I still got 32 mpg yeah

Well, guys....I'm already having troubles with Special Agent Cooper. He's a MCSCa and I've have the whole loss of power with the EML and SES lights coming on and I've also had the convertible top not go past sunroof position in hot weather a few times.

The loss of power also occurred on a hot day after the car had been in the sun at work. I accelerated from a complete stop and immediately the car bogged down to only going 15 mph at max. Turn off the engine, turn back on and it's been fine since then. I had 401 miles then and just over 900 now.

I just talked to the dealer about it and they want to come tow it right away since they expect it to keep happening. They say it needs a software update (why does my month old car need updating already?). I live 2 hours away, so I am rather annoyed since they want me to come pick it up when it's fixed.

I hope this isn't an indication of the future here. He makes me so happy otherwise!
