I am looking into getting an older Mini (the owner hasn't gotten all his information together for me), but before I invest in this creature, I need to know if I have the resources in the PNW to restore it. Peformance Motors in Seattle can do the mechanical work for me, but so far they are the only resource I have found. All us danged tree hugging hippies up here in the PNW know is Volkwagens. Can anyone suggest someone good to do a restoration for an old Mini?

Thanks,
Carrera

Check at www.seattleminiowners.com they are the classic Mini club in Seattle. They aren't very New MINI friendly, but they will sure help you in your quest.

My brother had his MGA restored by a shop in Tacoma (WA) called Brooklands. He created a website devoted to the project; you can take a look at the thoroughness of their work.
