OOOOOoooo that full leather is so soft and lush!!
Finally someone else agrees with me on the S leather, oh yeah you did too LMB.
At least that's three of us, so I'm not crazy after all ;) Wibbl Jun 11th, 2002, 10:22 AM Personally I'd go for the leather as the radio can always be upgraded later on but the seats are a bit more tricky.
Wibbl Washy Jun 11th, 2002, 10:26 AM i just rolled over and let the dealer empty my pockets. I have gone for the leather, I just could not resist, and CD boost and a CD changer......
But who cares:D :D Martin L Jun 11th, 2002, 10:28 AM Originally posted by washy

You've made the perfect choice :)
The full leather is the best option for the seats... Washy Jun 11th, 2002, 10:32 AM I did:D :D

:D LMB Jun 11th, 2002, 11:39 AM :D ELISEBOY Jun 11th, 2002, 11:51 AM see i love the red, but the problem on the S is that you cannot have a red trim or red seats
and the all black look inside doesnt look great in my opinion, too dark LMB Jun 11th, 2002, 12:03 PM Originally posted by ELISEBOY

Is the red interior not a bit too much on a red car. Just the thought of having a red interior gives me a headache.:D
I saw an EB/White S over the weekend which had the Lapis Blue leather. I have to say I thought it looked great.:) mikeythemini Jun 11th, 2002, 12:06 PM IB ANY PICS??
GOT ME WORRIED ELISEBOY Jun 11th, 2002, 12:36 PM i really like the red interior, think it sets it off nicely
just think that all black would be too dark
the blue combo is nice though dinger Jun 11th, 2002, 12:45 PM LMB,thanks for the pics.:)
Eliseboy, I agree with what your saying, but who cares what the interior colour is when your sitting behind the wheel grinning like a cheshire cat. ;) ;)
PS,That would be once you've had the works S conversion fitted.:) Marts Jun 11th, 2002, 12:51 PM DS with a black roof.....sweet. An_S_4_Me Jun 12th, 2002, 06:16 PM Thanks for your thoughts everyone, I am having my first S test drive tomorrow at 11am, so I will make a decision on....
1) DS with a White roof or a Black roof?
2) Whether to go for the Full Leather Lapis Blue or stick with my original choice of 1/2 leather all black, bit worried about cracking, wear, hot (and sweaty) in summer, cold in winter.
3) Should I upgrade to Climate Control or not?
Anyone have any ideas or opinions (good or bad) on the last 2 of the above choices? and does anyone think any changes now will affect my production date (week 27)?
Cheers

Here’s my prediction of what’s going to happen tomorrow:
You are going to chose Dark Silver/Black because it just looks so damn good.:D
You will go for Full Leather Lapis Blue, because despite your reservations it just looks so damn good.:D
Enjoy tomorrow mate.;) Make sure you thrash the ******** off the car.:D An_S_4_Me Jun 12th, 2002, 06:43 PM :D Cheers LMB
I saw the same 2 cars that Italian Stallion saw @ Wakefield, Both DS/White and DS/Black side by side, but the DS/White had horrible white wheels on it, so I just could'nt imagine it with silver alloys...
I was impressed with the full leather, looks very nice and feels great, I suppose I will have to see how rich I am feeling tomorrow..:D
Ahhhhh decision time draws nearer
P.S that cars gonna wish it was never born! Let the beasting commence! ELISEBOY Jun 13th, 2002, 05:09 AM DS has it for me now that i ahve seen it in the flesh
i dont like the full leather as much and when i was booting the car around the corners i was sliding all over the place
£230 for the Climate upgrade is a must, i love it to bits and am sure it would hold its value
just the question of white or black now for me!!!!! Martin L Jun 13th, 2002, 05:17 AM 2. Go for the leather, I was worried about the vast expanse of blue on the back seat, but it looks great in the flesh. IMO it's good quality too and with some care it should last.
3. Climate is a must, saves all the fussing about switching the a/c on and off all the time to keep the right temp. and the on/off button isn't convienently located for that.
As quoted below in my signature "freedom of choice is just too confusing" It's just so apt I thought I had to mention it again :p | |
