MINI5280, MINI5280 Northern Colorado Motoring, and MINI5280 Colorado Springs Motoring announce:
Spring Picnic 2005
Sunday, June 5th at NOON
Where? Longmont's ProspectNewTown (and)
Where? Colorado Springs's Bear Creek Park
Yes!! These are CONCURRENT events, one up north and one down south!! Now a place for everybody!!
Here are the details:
Pack your picnic lunch. Get it in the MINI. Gas it up. Go for a short ride and meet us.
Northern Colorado folks meet at the park in ProspectNewTown on the S side of Longmont (see link below) at NOON. Your Northern Colorado Steering Committe will be there to host you
Southern Colorado folks meet us on the W side of Colorado Springs at Bear Creek Park (see link below) at NOON. Your Colorado Springs Steering Committe will be there to host you.
In both locations, MINI5280 will provide the ice cold (non-alcoholic) beverages and some snacks.
In both locations, we ask you to come and have some picnic fun. Bring your Frisbee, Lawn Darts, Checkerboard, or whatever you like. We will plan to lunch, socialize, or whatever.
Be prepared for the eventuality that an impromptu RIDE may break out after the picnic.
Can't be there at NOON? Not a problem. Come late. We will be there a while.
Need to contact someone? Not a problem. For those wanting to go to Colorado Springs, contact BIGGRIPPER by PM right here in NAM. Sean will give you his cell # to stay in touch. For those wanting to go to Northern Colorado, contact Jonathan right here by PM, he will give you his cell # to stay in touch.
Don't know how to cook a picnic? Not to worry. Both locations have grocery stores nearby, just stop in, get some fried chicken and potato salad, and come on out. Don't forget the forks.
Things to remember: Bug spray (can bugs levitate in this thin air?) and a blanket, maybe some tunes. We will have sodas and water for you.
