Great photo's. Were you aware BMW are supposedly working on a modern replacement for the 2002 ? Nice to see BMW have still retained some of the "old school" in the design department.

If BMW is really looking at a new one I may have to wait....

Doesn't look like they'll go for a classic look. Just a cheaper beemer than the 3 series. Fortget what I said - if they manage a classic look with the soul of a real 2002 in a modern car I would have interest.
If its a copy of a japanese copy of a car, the Mini is still it.

Beautiful cars, guys.
I had a '72 2002. Perhaps the best car I've owned (out of only 8). Taking delivery on my Cooper next week. But dang, if BMW had only introduced a 2002 2002 {sigh}.
I already have buyer's remorse and haven't even driven the Cooper yet. Somebody help me! Is the Cooper really a blast to own & drive!?:confused:

Those are great pictures of the BMW 2002 and MINI. I had a 2002 - it WAS my favorite car (until now and my MINI). Always regret selling it ...

Thanks April. I keep my digital camera in my MINI, that way if there is an oportunity for pictures I have my camera with me.
In this case, I went into a store and came out to find the owner of this 2002 checking out my MINI. I asked her if she'd mind backing her car in so I could take some pictures of her 2002 and my MINI together. She was kind enough to humor me. :)
