Hi, just want to improve grip and road holding for my 210 bhp JCW( soon too be more power with GROUP BUY GRS intercooler ,3% crank pulley and larger throtle body). I find it struggles to get the power down on anything other than a straight road also understeers bad on tight bends.
Tyres will go non run flat when worn out (215 /35 18") so i am looking for best suspension upgrade to suit car.

Looking for a neutral balanced car for street use only,(not tracking it).Dont want scarry oversteer!
What do you recommend.

JCW suspension -10mm and better dampers!!!
Eibach springs -20mm
H & R -25mm
various -30 to -40mm

Larger rear Sway bar 19mm or 22mml

Front strut brace

Wheel spacers

All thoughts welcome

If you don't want as you say "scary oversteer" delete the sway bar from your list...although it makes a massive amount of better road holding in the bends...
Excellent choice with the GRS IC, I can definitely recommend that...Think seriously about upgrading your brakes.. The Eibachs are a good choice also....

I would suggest beginning with Eibach or KW springs, both are very good springs. KW lower the MINI slighty more at 35mm rather than 30mm, although in a Cooper S these figures will be less. An upper strut brace and lower strut brace from OMP will help too. If you want to stay away from lift off oversteer then as rasp said stay clear from an uprated rear anti roll bar on its own (without an uprated front anti-roll bar).

If you need more advice, you can give us a call on 01785 761300.
