Hi - Mrs Monkeyhanger is leaving me for a week and crossing the atlantic with her sister for a girls week away in Vegas!

I don't want her to get ripped off while she's there so just wondered if anyone could give some advice on how to book a trip to the Grand Canyon in a Helicopter??;)

Thanks...

Stew.

Stew,
The Southwest Region covers Nevada.
Here is a quick link I found on Google. I entered Grand Canyon Air Tours and got lots of hits. This was the first listing.

Make sure they do the tour first so they don't gamble away all of the money they've saved!
This is from a thread that Todd posted, saying he was Coming to America (But now he says he's holding off a year).

If you haven't been to Las Vegas (Lost Wages) before, you are in for a treat. There is no other place like it on Earth. The nice thing is there is much to do for free. One of the newer items I would recommend is the water show in front of the Bellagio at night. It is really spectacular and shouldn't be missed. The volcano in front of the Mirage is OK, I've never been impressed with the pirate battle at Treasure Island, but again the price is right.
If you can get into the Cirque de Soleil shows, especially the water-themed one (I think it's O), they're outstanding, but pricey.
Walking along the streets you'll also find lots of newspapers full of people that are willing to be your companion for the night. Isn't Vegas a hospitable town? Enjoy!

No, but this one does. ;)

Everything Bert said is correct. Also, you can to to Visit Las Vegas (http://www.visitlasvegas.com) for more leads. The local MINI club is Sin City MINIs (http://www.sincityminis.org). You wife will have fun, it's impossible not to in Vegas. :D

We will be going to Vegas for our fourth visit next week :D :D :D , the two main operators I've heard of are Heli USA (run by a Brit) and Papillion.

On our first visit we went with Heli USA and they were great and my Mom & Dad have just booked with Papillion.

You can book with both online or both companies have UK 0800 numbers check out their web sites.

:D :D YO BERT. Shouda asked a fellow exile in the first place!

My little pet dragon is coming over for the last week in September with her mad sister and one of her sister's friends. I'm a little nervous with sin-cities reputation, but I guess if they stay in the tourist area's they should be safe.:(

But I'm not letting them wear the same Tee-shirts that they wore when they went to Paris for a rugby match!
